Search continues, they add more police and military, now over 1,000 with special forces on standby
Five F16s still flying over the forrest combing it. They're flying at altitudes between 1,000ft - 2,500ft which is extremely low for a "cruising" flight.

He has location services enabled on his special forces app and is getting Door Dash.Would jets be useful for finding the guy? Do they got some special sensor that can pick him out, like a powerful thermal gear? Otherwise wouldn't a chopper be better, if he already ditched his missiles?
Norway is using a Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod on its F-16s to try and find the guy.Would jets be useful for finding the guy? Do they got some special sensor that can pick him out, like a powerful thermal gear? Otherwise wouldn't a chopper be better, if he already ditched his missiles?

Unless he has a pane of glass, the next best method is covering himself in mud, then leaves, and hiding under foliage.

they have special sensors. those jets are mostly used to find missing people in the EU. not many enemies to pew pew at.Would jets be useful for finding the guy? fireblankets are real good at keeping heat in.Unless he has a pane of glass, the next best method is covering himself in mud, then leaves, and hiding under foliage.
Anyways, the best thing to cap off this search would be that he backtracked and is now either posing as a homeless guy back in the city or hanging out on a beach in Spain. That would be maximum funny to me.
If he isnt already there- there are no border controlls from belgium to eastern poland. My moneys on him heading to Eastern Europe.
At those altitudes they aren't searching for him. It's a 'show of force'Five F16s still flying over the forrest combing it. They're flying at altitudes between 1,000ft - 2,500ft which is extremely low for a "cruising" flight.

Jets at those lower altitudes in forest terrain are doing a show of force. Max thrust, low alt, creates shockwaves and very, very loud noises. Done correctly can bust ear drums and make those on the ground severely disorientatedWould jets be useful for finding the guy? That camera will be useless at low altitude and high speed.Norway is using a Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod on its F-16s to try and find the guy.

Not at 1000ft they don't.they have special sensors. those jets are mostly used to find missing people in the EU. not many enemies to pew pew at.
that makes sense, but why should he react to them? the chances that they start firing are very low. a forest fire in some random belgian forest is a massive danger to alot of people. there us alot of ammunition in the ground in belgium.Sorry for the 'ackshually' but they're not doing recce with those flight paths. They know where he is, they're trying to flush him out.
They don't need to fire a single bullet.that makes sense, but why should he react to them? the chances that they start firing are very low. a forest fire in some random belgian forest is a massive danger to alot of people. there us alot of ammunition in the ground in belgium.
Depends; sensor suites have come *long* way in the past 5-7 years. If people really knew....That camera will be useless at low altitude and high speed.
Not at 1000ft they don't.
If you want to find someone you go high and 'slow' and 'circle' an area. You do not randomly fly up and down an area at 1000ft to find or track someone.
