last i checked the ones in the north (flanders) were the ones who were so based they got their regional political party banned by the central government for being too right wing, while the ones in the south are povertyniggers who vote for commies and leech off the prosperous norths money

And no, the South is basically a giant Rust Belt, and incredibly distributed. 55% of the landmass, 1/3 of the population. They were some of Europe's biggest coal and steel producers during the first half of the 20th Century, but the coal started running out in the 50's, and with that, the steel mills lost their fuel supplies and coke.

So we can assume he hasn't been caught yet right? If they did find him they would parade him around like a show pony for the propaganda. So now I'm wondering where he is hanging out, as it's most likely not in that forest(unless he built a Vietcong style tunnel system leading up to this. My guess is hanging out with his buddies/posing as a homeless man waiting for that politician to come out of hiding in Brussels, or chilling on a beach on the Mediterranean somewhere.

Have crossed multiple Schengen-internal borders since coof. No checks, didn't even see a border guard.
Edit: Plus it's not like he's gonna walk through a border post anyway when he could just walk around it/through a field/forest miles away.

local politicians occaisonally try to close off specific border crossings but they get blasted hard by the media and central governments so they give up quickly
so yeah this guy could very easily have made it to almost any place on the continent by now. could be as far west as portugal, as far north as norway, as far east as estonia, or as far south as greece.

The poor part yes, although no poorer than the West Coast or Northeast when adjusted for cost of living. Leeching off the North is contestable. Some have argued it receives far more in tax dollars, but if you vote against the things that you are given then you're not leeching so much as you're having unwanted gifts crammed down your throat. There's also things in the tax code that make it so the Northern tax burden is reduced for their high state taxes, so in some ways the tax code is rigged in their favor.
With a mask (thanks COVID) and a hat, he's indistinguishable from the typical middle-aged white guy, and could have bought a train ticket to anywhere in the EU. At this point they'll catch him once he does something crazy and exposes himself, or down the road when he gets sloppy (ie. contacts a friend the police are watching, tries to get cash from a bank account, etc).
I mean't south of the border where you have poverty niggers jumping over fences who vote socialist/communist while leeching off richer northern countries via benefits & welfare.

If this was some random joe blow soldier , id say that he's dead in the woods and won't be found for a few years , but if this guy is spec ops then hell theres no telling where hes at , hes probably got stashes of gear around the forest/country. Dude was in the middle east so hes probably well versed in guerrilla warfare. My bet is that hes long gone and has probably stashed the weapons far away from himself and the forest where the cops are looking.
there is nothing that can kill a man in the belgian forests in late spring. Its a lush land full of clean springs and berries. the only risk is building a fire over ww2 ammo dumps.(thats a real danger).
I like the P90 too but this comes across as special forces larping, even if the guy is an extremely well-trained and highly decorated sniper. I hope he's doing alright, even if Belgians are all weird
