Julie Reveals Herself - Chris seemingly unfazed? -

So I've been curiously digging back to the Julay saga lately and, after listening in to the audio of Bluespike revealing himself again, I kinda noticed that Chris didn't really freak out as much as Blue maybe intended. This doesn't come as a surprise but it seemed as if Chris' :heart-empty: was caused more by the PSN theft than losing his only piece of e-snatch for the time being.

Anyone else notice this? Is it because of the autism that he regards losing his playthings as more paramount a tragedy than a lover telling him that he's been played?

Is it because their affections were only limited to the internet that Chris subconsciously classified her as a proxy for building up himself (a living fashion accessory to show those dang pinheads wrong) as a better man? He's had more harsh reactions to rejections from people he barely knew, yet were in contact with him IRL, such as the "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" incident with that Hannah girl.

I'm probably thinking way too far into this shit, considering I'm spending my day off over-analyzing the behavior of an autistic manchild :alog: But what do you think?

Maybe deep down inside Chris really does know when things are too good to be true and so when the shoe finally drops it doesn't hit him quite so hard.

Psh, yeah right!

Here are a few explanations why it may not be as bad as you portray it.

1. Julie reveals herself was pretty cruel. And it was the last in a series of cruel and humiliating things in that Skype log. Chris may have been a bit of a boiling frog in that case. He was already experiencing a lot of negative emotions, and this just piled on.

2. Because "Max" had been treating him so badly, there may have been an understandable sense of relief that he didn't need to deal with it anymore that mixed in to his reaction.

3. It was in public, which makes reacting emotionally a little more challenging.

4. We only see his immediate reaction, which may have been more stunned, before he had time to process it.

5. While Chris sometimes reacts oddly and coldly to losing people, he doesn't always. See the "crashing into slumber" video. I don't quite know what dictates his reaction, but to say that he has never shown emotion after losing someone is not true.

Decide for yourself how many of these to accept and what weight to give them. I will say that my reaction to Julie reveals herself was almost entirely sympathy for Chris.

You know what was my favorite part of that call? No, not the medallion in the ass. That was fucked up. Max torments Chris by saying he's going to sell his playstation on ebay and give the money to ED and 4-chan, makes him scream, and makes him dance, but the second he tells Chris to say "Billy Mays is the new mayor of CWCville" is when Chris gives up on his PSN. That was his breaking point. Saying that a guy who shills laundry detergent on T.V. is the mayor of an imaginary city is where Chris tried to draw the line.

Keep in mind "Julie" was the third pick for a sweetheart during that time, he first picked "Blanca", then PandaHalo. "Julie" was the bottom of the barrel. This time was a high point in trolling, who knows how many "women" were trying to be his next sweetheart, when he realized "she" was fake, he didn't care because they're be a new girlfriend in months.

Bottom line: Chris was going though girlfriends like you'd go through tissues during flu season, I think "Julie" was just another tissue in an almost full box.

Maybe he was too busy focusing on saving himself from :briefs: than to express any sort of distressed emotion? :o

I swore that Chris did some mental gymnastic about this, something about how there was a real Julie that he spoke to but that Max pretended to be her part of the time or something like that. The point is, a lot of these sort of things unphase Chris because he usually finds some way to make it look like he was right the whole time and wasn't made a fool.

The Billy mays thing is an good example of how old memes become unfunny and forgotten, pretty quickly, like try this, look up memes from a long time ago, and tell me with a straight face that they are still funny.

Didn't he literally scream "NOOOO" in public after the whole Hanna incident?

I think maybe he was just confused or something. Boy ain't too bright.

Two opinions:

-The reveal fit well within the soap-opera melodramatics that Chris thinks is his life with trolls. (This dynamic would hit its extreme with the Liquid Saga's love triangle.)

-Chris believes (or at least believed then) there will always be another sentient vagina throwing itself at him for his pleasure. (This belief in the interchangeability of women would repeatedly prove to be a point of contention, most notably in one of the Kacey calls where she calls him out on his countless 'sweethearts-for-life.')

That call makes me sick. Bluespike or whatever has some serious issues. It sounded like he was having the best time humiliating Chris like it made him sexually aroused or something. I think due to the fact Chris embarrassed himself so much already that is why his reaction is that not that extreme. If it made him cry (which it probably did) he may be smart enough to at least keep that private.

Brother, Bluespike was 13. Thirteen year old boys are as cruel as Bobby Heenan

I think Bluespike was genuinely aroused by Chris' embarrassment.
