Donor Analysis:
There were 46 donors this cycle, 19 of whom had donated in the last cycle, and 27 of whom are new. The total contribution was $4070, of which $1085 was from California. $520 was from Massachusetts, and the rest was mostly from random individuals (including a few whales who gave several hundred apiece)
EDITED FOR CORRECTION: there was also $1008.18 of "unitemized" contribution from individual donors, making the total haul $5078.18.

Largest donors this time: James Stanley Daugherty (a sci-fi friend of Frank's) who gave $500 at once, followed by Guinevere Hildebrand, a transgender woman who has been giving $100/month since the campaign started.

As far as I can tell, there was precisely one donor who is from District 8: Sara Jones.

People of Interest:

Susan Swords - assistant director, New Jersey Office of Legislative Services
Graham Lampa - civil servant, US Department of State

Sara Jones - Ropes & Gray LLP
Gregory Barbee - Sheppard Mullin

Alex Guichet - Apple
Dan Dunham -Blizzard
Andrew Boscardin - Essence Digital (media firm)
Nathan Epstein - Giant Interactive (game company)
Mark Foltz - Google
Brian Moore - Google
Eric Rehmeyer - Microsoft
Lucas Wilson - Supersphere Productions (VR media)
Barbara Shaurette - Vox Media Group
Daniel Nelson - Vungle (in-game advertising company)

Aggregate contributions by state:

As for expenditures, they break down as follows:
Actual Campaigning: 5972.49
Tech Toys: 3554.08
Travel: 2266.82
For a grand total of 11793.39 spent.
EDITED TO ADD: There was also an unitemized spend of $50 for refunding a contribution - no information on what this was about.

I define "campaigning" very generously, as all the ads, campaign software, and everything relating to that "candidate training" event.
"Tech Toys" is all the junk from Amazon and Ikea.
"Travel" is everything relating to the trip to California.

Frank paid out-of-pocket for the video ads and John's "candidate training" stuff in Massachusetts
Note that Frank actually got this wrong and "memo'ed out" the $959.79 of candidate-training stuff twice, so the numbers on the FEC website aren't correct. Feel free to weeen to the FEC about this, but they won't care.

My custom-made CSV files are attached to this post.

EDIT: here's the list of monthly subscribers (people with recurring donations on the same day of the month), and how much they're in for, per month. Yes, that $100 is per month.

Also - do any of our experts know what the deal with unitemized contributions is? Internet says the cutoff is $200 total before you're required to itemize; is Frank just doxing people because he's too lazy to keep track of people's total contributions?

EDIT: official CSVs from the FEC are up

undoxed Rat Kings
Shame on us if we still have any :epik:
I took a perfunctory look through some of the more prominent donors and couldn't find any other suspicious individuals. Guinevere Hildebrand is trans but surprisingly doesn't seem to be linked into any rat-kinging. Cynsa Bonorris sounds like (and is) a made-up name, but seems to be just an ordinary woman who changed her name to something silly.

Unitemized donations are there to make it easier for both campaigners and the FEC. Single donations of less than 200 are financially insignificant when you consider that even failed campaigns like John's are dealing with several thousands of dollars, and only a fraction of the funding for a campaign will come from small donations anyway. The only people who have any information on any details of those unitemized donations are John and Frank, and they're under no obligation to release it.
The cutoff for itemizing is $200, but it's unnecessary below that threshold, not unacceptable, so there could be some people below that who are only there because Frank tarded out and included them anyway. That doesn't seem to be the case though. The unitemized rule only applies to one-time donations. It's to prevent corporate giants from avoiding itemization by sending $199.99 every day, so all recurring donations must be itemized.

For some reason, Wu just started to included unitemized contributions in this quarterly report, and he did so inconsistently. There are a massive number of small, one-time donors included in both of the reports that they've filed thus far. Essentially all of their donors (by count if not dollar) are below the threshold for reporting, and most of them have been fully disclosed. There's absolutely no reason for there to be so many donors listed. It takes a lot more work, and they get no brownie from the FEC for doing so.

All they're doing is doxing most of their contributors so that we can (hopefully) discover even more speds.

We should probably start a doxing thread on all of them somewhere public.
