Off-Topic Just how ill is Phil? - Mental/physiological health speculation thread -

It's time to become armchair doctors and psychiatrists and diagnose Phil like we're teenagers on Tumblr! We've often discussed that Phil has a plethora of unidentified physical and mental disorders, in addition to some of the spurious claims he has made for asspats. Everything from diabetes to HIV to sociopathy has been suggested to properly dissect the poor man. Which ones do you think he actually has, or is Isabel a perfectly fine individual and we just have the problem?

Personally, I think he definitely has diabetes and autism. I also think Dissociative Identity Disorder really helps explain his obsession with becoming different people and fiercely fighting to preserve that identity. Of course, that's just my completely unprofessional opinion.

Is there any source for diabetes other than his obesity and what we know of his diet? I'm certain he's on the path to type II diabetes, but not sure he's arrived yet.

Some Kiwi called Phil a "low-intelligent sociopath", and I think that is a pretty accurate description, with bonus autism of course. BPD could be an accurate assessment too, but Phil doesn't seem to fear rejection. In fact, he seems to crave it, because it validates his persecution complex.

Screaming once more into the void, I'll go with the majority of the psychiatric conditions, but I doubt he has any physical issues beyond chronic obesity.

I think Phil fears rejection by his asspatters, which is why he periodically resorts to suicide baiting when his usual drip-feed of imaginary microagressions fails to produce sufficient coddling.

I agree, though, that he seeks out rejection from those he defines as his enemies, in order to milk more sympathy from those he deems his supporters.

I think that like Chris, Phil was given too high functioning of a diagnosis. Or maybe they both were higher functioning when they were younger but a lack of proper training and supervision has damaged that. I actually think that Chris could have a place to live and support himself. Phil however has been on his own for years and has only deteriorated. He now lives in a perpetual state of delusion. Phil could have a place to live but doesn't because even though he has the funds, he does not posses the life skills to provide for himself. This is were the judge failed him when he was given unsupervised control of his autismbux.

I feel like that was due to them being in school and forced into social situations. When they graduated (or kicked, like ADF) they lost that social aspect and devolved.

Chris is getting better in that respect, but ADF seems to be getting worse. One day ADF will be the crazy old bum on a traffic island with an old deck chair and a sign saying "Mao is Now".
