I diagree. Academics try this line too, "you see, our lack of standards, accountability, and oversight is actually a good thing, because it means that we're free to be totally objective and we're totally responsible not to just make up shit and engage in tween girl drama." When, as we can see with academics, the participants are human and still subject to all human failures, like bias, social manipulation, and so on and so forth.If they don't fear the electorate, who is left TO fear?
