He meant to say “getting an A in the course”. It’s not surprising if he’s going to a for-profit, private university**. They are run as degree-mills for Indian students wanting PR, and have virtually no academic standards.
Edit: **this also applies to government-funded colleges and universities, although it’s to a lesser extent. i know people currently in college in Ontario, and they told me their class is 80-90% Indian nationals

That's how I initially read it so my original comment stands...if a real dunderhead like him can get a decent grade then the standards must be gutter level.
Lawyers are generally eloquent with a good command of the English language so after listening to him at the BCHRT (and in the various online vids/discussions) if he ever passes the bar then his courtroom performances are going to be epic. This is the same bloke who claimed his words had power. <shrugs>

Yeah he's stupid and all the rest but don't forget this is someone who many thought wouldn't be stupid enough to go through with GRS, sit in a full bath of manky bath water with an open wound, take on the RCMP, ToL, fall for another catfish etc etc...but he did. Unless he finally has the book thrown at him re RCMP / strata assault then I can't see his background stopping him plus we're talking years down the line here.
Again, if he has met the Uni entry requirements then the Canadian educational standards are rock bottom so the possibility of him passing the bar isn't that far-fetched....putting it all into practice / being any good at it is another thing.

Slight power level, may be irrelevant but I’ll ramble on anyway.
As he already holds a degree he could be on a graduate programme which only takes 2 rather than he usual 3 years to achieve.
Students are placed into the second year modules to keep the cohort somewhat consistent, someone on a graduate programme would (all being well) graduate at the same time as students in year 2 of the 3 year version of the degree.
It is also my understanding that grades like he’s stated aren’t used, either the 0-100 or 20-90 scale is standard to assess a students work, I never seen marks on those scales adjusted to A,B,C etc, only ever to first class, upper second, lower second etc for undergrads and distinction, merit, pass etc for postgraduates.
I’ve dealt with many Canadian students and the NCA many many times over the last decade so admittedly I don’t live or work in Canada, I have had extensive and on ongoing dealings with the Canadian legal education system.
As with most things concerning the land manatee, it doesn’t pass the smell test.

He's got a "diploma" which to my understanding is a 2 year degree sort of an associates equivalent in a totally unrelated field of study (computer science) so he's not in a graduate program.

Lots of colleges and universities have summer sessions. I'm not sure what university he's supposedly attending - I haven't paid much attention to Tamponathan for about 6-7 months, although I do remember him being enrolled in some non-academic legal secretary course somewhere - but it's a fairly common thing. There are also a lot of online universities, mostly for-profit (although some are non-profit), who operate on a six-ish-week, one-class schedule.
If he's going to Simon Fraser University, as a screencap about him sperging on Discord implied, they probably do have summer sessions, being a larger public university. They also appear to have non-academic programs like the one he was previously in available, so he could just be doing that as well.
He doesn't have a degree, he has a "diploma" (which may be the equivalent of an associate's degree in the U.S., although I'm not certain) that he took far longer to complete than the two years it was supposed to take. No master's program would admit him unless it was some completely unaccredited fake school (like Anna Johnson's school she went to in order to become a "naturopathic doctor.")
