But as much as he pays his coworkers, I doubt he has saved enough for a nest egg. And unfortunately, if you're an unlikeable cunt its back to bussing tables for good 'ol Karl.

Look at the rest of Cracked staff. Almost all of them went into social media influencing and streaming and had the charisma of either a wet napkin. Or were unlikeable elitist snobs like Karl. And now their streaming accounts are desiccated husks filled with boring playthroughs of shitty indie games their friends made. Say what you want about Machinima or Channel Awesome. But at the end of the day the business owners didn't leave in shambles. allowing them to create a life raft off of the talent, capital, and charisma they used build the platforms in the first place. Cutting the chaff loose and paying people the lowest number you can is good business. Karls employees are not gonna give a shit about his "generosity" in ten years. And the platforms he chooses to virtue signal on now will be as forgotten as angelfire or geocities in a decade. When his alcoholic ass is breaking glasses at his dishwashing station.

I hope there's a bag in his exit strategy so he can be just like the troons he loves so much but i guess his ego won't allow it. It'd be so glorious if Carl's nest egg is smaller than ralph's is. While i'm talking about Ralph these two have a fuckton of similarities. Both are substance abusing narcissistic assholes who just can't seem to shut up and take their viewers money. Neither of them can let even the slightest bit of an insult go and basicly goes to war if you don't pump up their overinflated ego farther everytime you talk to them. Good god the gunt would've been the perfect cracked writer.

If Machinima and CA make better decisions than you do maybe you shouldn't be out in the world but in some kind of retard house. I kinda can understand paying someone a decent hourly wage but i will bet money his friends don't work 40hrs per week to actually earn that pay. If i look at LTT i can see what Carl thinks he's doing but other channels are normal People who are able to make videos without sperging and turning their fans against them. His monthly views are down from ~3mil to ~1.5mil which means i have to prepare my fatty troon heart for the schadenfreude i'll be feeling the moment he DFE and GTFO of the internet or i'll die right then and there.

Honestly it's weird to me that Karl apparently is doing well (he has nearly 800 thousand subs) but there is no fucking mention of him in general internet spheres. I think I see people say on some subreddits they learned some relevant trivia from a Fact Fiend video but otherwise he's in the exact same sphere as Minecraft Youtubers who don't break out like Dream- technically doing well but generating no impact or ripples.

Also he apparently closed his Discord again.

What I find kind of nuts is that he has made no attempt to seem like a likeable person in public. Or has done anything to boost his own marketability as a personality. Putting everything into the Fact Fiend basket. And driving it into the ground as all internet trends go. I think what Karl is banking on is getting picked up by another company, working for somebody else. The guy just strikes me as the kind'a guy would thrives in the wagey cage. He'll self sabotage himself and his coworkers before they ever begin to make enough money to live more then ten years off of. Look at what happened too cracks video distribution arm six years ago. The only person who made it was Cody Johnston rode the crest of the breadtube wave because he wasn't a gamma rate personality. Everybody else was just proles that disappeared into the rest of the LA mediocrity.

Rather then troon out, I think he'll work as a middle management social media firm till he retires early, Karl seems to be a worldly british expat type, he'll move to Cambodia or Thailand to teach English and fuck little girls until he dies of some flesh eating STI you can only get in a shithole country. And thankfully it will be well into the end of antibiotic resistance by then.

That email he tweeted was a personal email between the lady and the editor she sent that too. And here is Karl tweeting personal things that he has no business in. But he tried to dunk on her when in fact he just ended up flopping and looking like a complete asshole

For a while I was on Karl's side about wanting to be left alone. Way too many youtubers set up the expectation of "We're best friends" with all their viewers and Karl laying down the law was actually refreshing. Then he started sliding into the crazy, especially when Covid hit. Was yelling about people wanting to send him stuff in a PO box during a pandemic, then gets products sent to him companies with no issues about covid issues. Then his twitter just became a shit show of "Don't do this" or "Why?". You know why, people are trolling the shit out of you and you are falling for it.

The last thing that finally got me to only watch the occasional video is he has stated several times that he doesn't take suggestions because he doesn't want super "common" facts to be episodes. While this might be me being a gigantic trivia nerd, for the last year or so it's been pretty hit or miss on if they have been common or not. (Or just reading a wiki entry for 10-20 minutes)
