Robert and Linda have literally nothing filled out aside from their introductory quirks.

Come to think of it, almost nothing beyond the basics are filled out, and even those are severely lacking too. It's like Enter skiped out on the "Character Building 101" class at school because it would have taught him something. And we all know how he feels about being taught stuff.

Nothing wrong with him stating that they aren't stupid assholes, it's actually useful information.

Pretty sure if you walked up to a TV exec and told them that the defining character trait of the protagonist of your kids show was that she's, quote, "NOT AN ASSHOLE," he'd slam the door in your face.

It's funny how he insists that none of his characters are STUPID or AN ASSHOLE but from what we've seen of Sally, his pet character, she's nothing but a stupid asshole.

They listed quirks, not real character traits. Potential writers could extrapolate, but they shouldn't have to be guessing what a character is like.

Soooooo, this episode's plot is basically:
Kathy lost the key to her lunchbox, decides to task one of her students to open it, because she can, when she should be the one dealing with it seeing how she's the one who lost the key to begin with. The rest of the episode revolves around the family trying to open the box while being more OOC than ever, and when they finally open it, they discover that this whole premise was just an excuse to give us the lesson: "Don't say that things are impossible when they're not, even when it's just a figure of speech."

Future plans for the character? Dynamics with other characters? Nah lets put down "Not an asshole" and "Not stupid" and we're set. This kind of unprofessionalism is like the top reason this shit will go nowhere. The fact that you can't see that is astounding.

I can't get over how bad Enter's writing is. Its so awkward and stiff and it doesn't sound natural at all. It makes no attempt to be vibrant or engaging. The entirety of this script is just dull, uninspired filler.

What a massive implied insult it is that Enter thinks kids would find this trite funny. That assumption severely underestimates the mental capacity of anyone with a functioning cerebellum. In spite of having the temper of a child, Enter clearly doesn't understand how children actually think.

Wouldn't it make sense for the old people to be treated like babies? I mean, they both wear diapers and yell a lot.
