Well crap. I just discovered Kelly and the other munchies a few weeks ago via r/IllnessFakers, and found my way here. I finally got through reading this entire 122-page thread and am just...speechless. I've heard of self-harm, but had no idea someone would take it this far. Kelly's gonna lose those rotting legs, and she did it to herself. She doesn't have "Bechets Disease", she just picked her legs to the bone.

But it looks like she won't be doing any more updates? Is this thread over? Crap, I am so late to the dance...

Kelly has gone radio silent before with promises to never return. She always comes back.

There's no doubt she's mentally ill, and this is all rooted in that illness, but at the end of the day she's doing this for attention. She can't not come back.

After all, what's the point of dying of a horrible disease if there's no one there to see you do it?

Ok, thanks. Honestly, I don't know how to feel about her resuming her gruesome videos and spewing lies to her adoring followers on Instagram. Especially the ones who gush that she's such a "strong and inspiring woman"...blech.

Agree that she's severely mentally ill and for that, I DO feel some sympathy. BUT, many other folks have mental illness too, and they don't manipulate and lie and fake stuff. It is especially galling that she's used up probably MILLIONS of dollars of medical resources as well as precious, limited blood supplies for fake transfusions. That makes me so angry... imagine your loved one dying of blood loss in the ER after a car accident because Kelly had hoarded all the blood for her munchie transfusions.

She either needs to pass away for her own good (and that of the medical system), or freaking get intense psych help. Oh and some big thick mittens duct-taped to her hands...

She's a picker for sure, but most nurses you talk to have at least one story about the time they removed someone's shoe/sock/dressing and the toe stayed in it.

I'm continually amazed every time we see her feet and they aren't completely dead yet.

Did she just pick the skin around her toenail and dig the nail out of the bed. Because that don’t look like one that just ‘fell off’. She’s picking her fucking toes to pieces now. I wonder what she does with all the bits? I imagine they are randomly on the arm of the couch or on the bedside table. She’s definitely a fucking vampire because she should have died by now. All those gross open wounds is a breeding ground for bacterial infections, sepsis, gangrene.

Do you think her doctors have suggested amputation but Kelly refuses because she just wants to see how far she can go? If they took her legs she’d move onto her arms then would she end up a quadruple amputee, just a torso and head sat on her bed. That’s about the only cure for this woman. She should be involuntarily committed but her doctors probably think she went way beyond help 2 shins ago... we’ll have toe nerve pics next and a hole going straight through her foot.

I would think the lack of feeling in her feet gives her ample time to slowly pick them apart. Though not getting the large reaction to her toe “folding under” her foot probably sped up the picking timeline.

I lost my big toenail on my right foot after backpacking for several days on gravel trails with incorrectly fitted boots. My toe, sans nail, looked NOTHING like that....the nailbed was still pink and healthy looking. Not a putrid stump....
