Ken has a lot of nerve. His selfish actions completely and utterly fucked over a long running comic, his former employer, and the entire Sonic fanbase (including the fanbase for the characters HE CREATED), and for what? So he could make shitty books with shitty artwork with these characters that are nigh useless on their own? Who the hell is going to reprint comics featuring his characters, especially now that Sonic and Archie both want to forget that that comic ever existed, if only to deny the stupid idiot any royalties for characters that Sega refuses to acknowledge that he owns?

Pender's work really showed the kind of ego he really had. I think thanks to Sonic the Hedgehog, his art skills really deterorated. If he really wanted to make an original work based on his work at Archie, why doesn't he make derivatives of characters that he created? Just tweek the character a bit and publish your own damn work.

If he really wanted to make an original work based on his work at Archie, why doesn't he make derivatives of characters that he created? Just tweek the character a bit and publish your own damn work.

That's exactly what he should have done and it would have been easy, but he was so desperate to hang on to that Sonic clout, that he just had to have his Red Sonic army. How he thought anyone would care about those characters outside the Sonic universe is beyond me.

I feel like his A-logs would make better thread material, but then again, David Gonterman is not really that active as a cow.

Also I used to talk to the dude on Skype in the mid 2000's, he really mellowed out considerably.
