Something I noticed was that in the Cecil McFly doc it's mentioned that Kero tried to turn the blame for the "fake logs" on big game hunters at one point, after the Iranian Superhackers excuse fell apart. This is a bit ironic to me, since on his reddit account he claimed one of his friends was a hunter who let him fuck a recently-shot deer (it comes up mentioned in Cecil's doc at about 18:05) in the chats on Reddit with SnakeThing and Tim Win. It's been well established by now that Kero doesn't like killing the animals himself, because he's more into the necrozoo stuff than full-blown torture and sadism, and prefers if they were killed via natural causes, accident, or someone else doing it for him. This sentiment is echoed his discussion in the zoosadism chats on Telegram about Kero not being big on suffering persay, and more about general zoophillia and necrophillia.

This is purely speculation on my part, but I wouldn't be entirely shocked if it came out that Kero had been intending to pivot the blame onto this unknown hunter friend and presumed necrozoo enabler for the "faked" leaks at some point, under the pretense that that guy was the real necrozoo all along and was just pretending to be Kero so convincingly because they knew one another IRL. It's demonstrably bullshit regardless, since if so then this dude must've had access to all of Kero's social media accounts and clones of his fucking dog, but I wouldn't put it past Kero to try and weasel his way out of trouble by blaming the nearest dude who he claimed let him rape a freshly killed deer, because he would of course be put under immediate scrutiny. At best he could've been hanging onto it in case things went really bad and he had to lean into the "I was groomed!" safety net that people like Toggle has been carefully stringing out for him since day one.

I'm sure some of the people sticking up for Kero and either covering for him by claiming his innocence or actually believing he's innocent are animal rapists themselves, like the dumb cunt who was moderating his channel and deleting any comment that didn't support Kero. Some were probably people who have a zoo fetish or are sympathetic towards animal rapists, like Ashley Zoe Fox. Some were people willing to give Kero a pass just to "get this all over with already" because they either were fans of Kero or they just didn't want anymore drama in the fandom to make them all look even worse than they already do. And there was likely a sizeable percentage who are just really fucking retarded and can't analyze the evidence and figure out the truth for themselves, so they take Kero at his word that he's innocent. As other people are saying, the I Stand With Kero crowd seems to be a mixture of sympathetic zoophiles, kids/teenage fans who idolize Kero and don't really know any better, and plain ol' idiots. It's possible that there's Bubbling go on - Kero fans never coming into contact with critics, and thus never getting the other side of the story - but given that basically everybody defending Kero is a furry, and the furry fandom is mostly hostile towards the guy, I don't know how insulated a pro-Kero thought bubble could be. Any furry who tries to block / filter anti-Kero viewpoints will have to block almost all of their friends.


However, I think what's even more interesting is the fact that a significant number of his detractors are pro-zoo creeps as well. The popufurs Kero reached out to initially, for example, don't have a problem with Kero raping animals. They're actually OK with Kero sexing up his dog and roadkill; what they have a problem with is Kero lying and making the furry community "look bad". While they threw him under the bus, they did so for all the wrong reasons.

Even worse was the Zooier Than Thou guys. They inserted themselves into the Zoosadism leak story quite early, presenting themselves as being anti-zoosadist activists.
