I've never had a cup of microwave coffee that tasted like actual coffee.
French press is awesome, but K-cups work for my day-to-day, who gives-a-rat's-ass coffee needs.
These exceptional individuals may not even realize that one doesn't need a Keurig to brew K-cups.
That is partially why I got one of those cheap Hamilton beach 2-in-1 ones, the machine that has a seperate brewer for pots and cups. Mostly just use the cup thing to make instant boiled water, but it's nice for only $70.
It's kinda amazing how Kurig went the DRM route right when every other appliance maker is starting to make bootleg machines that can use any of their cups.
