No windows, don't know if they are necessary for alpaca well being but like just some small windows near the roof would be cool I guess so the alpacas could get some natural light too. The lights were off when they opened the doors, are they always in the dark? That thing just screams hastily put together with no human thought on the well being of the animals or what you would think would be a nice cozy place for them to live. And the males and females seem to be in the same garage, separated by just a wall? Can't the males try to jump over it and try to breed with the females?

Troon shouldn't be entrusted with the care of any living thing, they can't even take care of themselves and completely lack empathy for even other humans, much less a tricky animal like alpacas. This is just such shit. I wonder if even PETA would go after troons.

Getting more info and details on the alpaca barns and care is giving me a lot of problems that could crop up in the future.

They've already lost a couple due to cold weather before, and it's obvious that they haven't bothered to make any improvements to the alpaca shelters. Their insulation is uncovered. I wonder how many alpacas will start getting skin infections from rubbing against each other, the uncovered insulation or even starting fights because of the build up of stress from neglect? They're going to be rubbing up against each other and the goats who are already shorter and getting between their legs.

Alpacas aren't as mean as llamas, but if they're gonna try to bring in big animals like cows I wonder how many steak dinners they'll be having for the time.

Maybe I feel too much for the animals, but honestly, a large part of me is waiting for the Rob Zombie circus show climax.

The 52 you counted would have been just one side - the 'girl' or 'boy' side...I calculated earlier in the thread after giving up counting on 48 and that was just the girl 'pacas

There was about the same packed into the boy side so that gives us a ballpark of c100 alpacas in there meaning that 'close to' 34 feet actually needs to be 68+ and it's nowhere near that - poor little bastards can't turn or lay down properly crammed in like that which won't help the quality of their coat any and will lead to a whole other host of pretty nasty outcomes

Yes, but I was using a width of 12 feet just for that one side, so my 34 foot depth is correct.

This is assuming that the reported 8 sq ft per animal is correct because they do seem packed in there.

I can't speak for the USA but if animal control there are anything like the RSPCA here, they vastly favour easy targets - think the poor little old lady who maybe couldn't get a tin of food or get her cat to the vet for nothing in particular, or cases they can easily prosecute to look 'good' in the eyes of the public who throw money at them as a result of their heart-wrenching emotional blackmail TV ads

Yet call them because you've found an animal in genuine trouble or distress and they aren't interested - no money in it

Slight sperge, but he only has it at tilt from his elbow. Women tend to use their whole body to pose with the angle they're working with so they're hiding less flattering parts or angles of their perception. Meanwhile, Kevin isn't a woman and probably faceblind, so he just looks like he's leaning his head on his broad, manly shoulders while sticking his arm out with a heavily padded chest with no real gravity.

While it is true that someone -- especially if that person is fat -- could be an SNL Pat type where you just can't say for sure what gender they are -- in virtually every other case, I would bet in person you could tell a troon. Online, you've got posing and filters to improve chances of passing. In real life, the way you talk and your mannerisms will almost always give you away.

I've seen exactly one troon in my life that I thought was able to pass pretty well. Several men were checking him out. He was thin, with a sexy red dress on and from a distance (if you weren't paying attention) you would have thought it was an attractive woman. He had delicate, feminine features. I saw him from the middle of a theater while he was walking in. Just the way he was walking, I clocked him immediately. The men in the audience, however, didn't immediately catch on which greatly amused me. This was 30 years ago when troons were pretty rare in normie spaces. Troon radar might not be 100% accurate, but I'd say it is in at least 98% of the cases. Maybe women are just better at detecting it. That would explain why Kev can't understand how people are able to clock troons so easily.

It might be a case of "you know what you know". You see yourself most often, so anything that isn't like you is therefore not you. Aka, you stare into a mirror and see a man, therefore anything that tries to be a man is easily seen. For instance, how guys can spot a FTM easier than women.

Hopefully my point came across well, lol. For me it's shoulder, brows, and the way they walk. Men walk with their shoulders, women with their hips, due to skeletal structure. Of course, this is all IRL.

They are unfortunately exactly like SS - who prefer taking kids from single mothers who might get their kids to school a few minutes late a few times but the poor kids who are actually being beaten, diddled or emotionally abused are left to rot because there is far more money to be made off children who aren't damaged (yet)
