I have Meniere's Disease, which has the exact same symptoms of tinnitus, dizziness, and hearing loss. Effectively, your inner ear builds up extra fluid and it throws off your sense of balance, gives you vertigo, and generally screws with your ear's functions. There's no known cause, no known cure, and not even really much of a treatment other than some dizziness meds (though if it gets bad enough, I might need a hearing aid, but I'm not there yet). I even had the same recommendation of "well sorry, no idea what's up, try your ENT?" because I went to an audiologist at first too. If that's the case, sorry man. The tinnitus is a bitch, but you learn to live with it.
TL;DR, Wedge might have a thing called Meniere's Disease.
