I think that a big reason troons are so defensive is that while a big part of transitioning is because of a fetish, it's also a major cope for weak men. every troon has a sad backstory of not fitting in, not having friends, getting bullied, failing socially, and I think they troon out because they inherently believe women to be weaker, so if they become a woman, it's ok for them to be weak. instead of working on themselves and becoming proud of who they are, they just become a woman, who they believe it's acceptable to be "weak" and avoid responsibilities. this also explains why so many of them also fetishize being a child: the ultimate weak, carefree, responsibility free space. anyway, it should be no surprise that troons hate feminists so much: the idea that woman are strong, and equal to men, and can do anything they want means that troons can't use being a woman to cope for their weaknesses anymore

Man, I knew that it would be a disaster back when I first heard about the Tenacious Unicorn Ranch, but I feel like the basic idea of a trans sanctuary ranch could actually work out really well in competent hands. Your first instinct might be to say, "you'll never extract anything of value besides lols from a troon", but that's not completely true. Sure, most trannies seem to have personality disorders that completely make them worthless, but it's certainly not every single one, and a good screening process could probably find you a handful of reliable troons who will give themselves heart and soul to your community.

Because trannies have 3 traits that will make them perfect as off-the-grid workers. 1) They are really into their identity. I can't exactly say they're loyal to the trans community or dedicated, but in terms of all the other things in their life the trans community seems to be the one thing that a tranny loves other than themselves. And if they do decide to bitch on social media about how it's too hard to live on a tranch the rest of the community will be right there to gaslight and groom them into believing that they have to stick to it. 2) A lot of them want to reinvent themselves. They want to cut off all ties to the lives they lived before and living off the grid in a self-sufficient community is a pretty perfect way to do that. 3) You have a gimmick to sell your products. Look at the reviews for the tranch's wool already. We have copers praising it for having bits of grass and shit in it because it shows that it's authentic. People showing off their skeins on social media, and GFM raising thousands in a day because even people who will never live on the tranch want it to succeed at least as much as the people who started it.

I'm a simple urbanite, but it's kind of got me thinking about how I'd do this. You'd need some start-up capital and a few skilled trannies. I know that the idea of shipping container homes were discussed in the past before ultimately being dismissed, but I think it's not entirely without merit, at least for getting the tranch off the ground. Cleaning out and renovating those containers would be a relatively simple team-building project that can't be too irrevocably fucked up. You'd have to build some sort of exterior walls/roof for insulation purposes, but the sturdy containers take a lot of the structural concerns off your plate, you'd basically just need to build them strong enough to hold fiberglass insulation, set up the units side-by-side to minimize the exterior work. Once you've cleaned, painted, cut vents, put down a rough floor (cover it up with a rug), and put up drywall (maybe an interior wall and a flimsy door so the back half is closet space) that leaves electrical. That's where you'd need a skilled tranny with some electrical experience, but each unit would probably only need one outlet and an overhead light, you could probably sacrifice a good amount of the space in the back since the containers are about 8'x20'. Bathrooms would have to be communal, hopefully plumbing really shouldn't require much skilled upkeep, so that's not something you really need a skilled tranny for, just a normal plumber should do just fine. Kitchen would also be communal. No living room, part of the ranching experience is living in the great outdoors, just make a nice fire-it area. Make sure that one of your skilled trannies knows how to cook for a lot of people.

As for the product, I think that wool is actually a good idea. It allows your financial supporters to buy something permanent that they can show off to their friends to prove what good trans allies they are, but alpaca seem like a bad fit. Small animals have a couple advantages, they need smaller and therefore simpler shelter and taking care of cute little animals makes you look more like a woman. Angora rabbits are a great investment because (IF PROPERLY CARED FOR!!) one generates hundreds of dollars worth of high-quality fiber each year. All trannies will need to contribute to the grooming, but it would be great to be able to show off your transgirls intimately caring for adorable balls of fluff.

By the way, get a tranny who knows how to take good pictures. Have him carry a camera with him at all times and post carefully curated ones every single week, more likely every few days. Since you are selling an idea almost as much as a product, make sure that your animals are kept in tip-top condition. It'll be harder to find a tranny who actually has livestock experience, but they exist and they are critical.

Get some chicken or quail, you probably won't be able to sell their products, but they're part of the whole self-sufficiency angle. They eat kitchen scraps (and actual bird food, I don't think they can thrive on just scraps) and give you eggs. If you use quail you can also get a lot of quality meat. Keep them away from your wool animals though, birds are not clean animals.

Once things are running you can start bringing in less skilled trannies as general labor, but screen and vet them thoroughly. But in all seriousness, I also like troons realizing that they can’t bend reality around them enough to function in any populated urban center and choose to banish themselves to the woods. However this isn’t the first tranny haven to be started and fail. I think trannies have an inherit issue that they conflict sexuality with sexual identity and because of this they are doomed to in-fight.

Even the ranch has this issue, I mean Bonnie is a monogamous, “a sexual” married to a cis man, Penny is a BDSM non cis polycule and Kevin is a “as long as it says trans on it I’m in” mess. This has shown to cause rifts, with Bonnie passively aggressively reminding people that the ranch isn’t a dating site.
