Lol, the nose is one line and yet she can't even keep it on model.

New-age hippie vegan people tend to gravitate towards hinduism. For some reason they're also often anti-vaxxers and like to treat everything with homeopathy and essential oils, because hurr durr actual meds are not natural and your heart knows better what your body needs.I have no clue why the health nut woman in the first one is wearing a shirt with the Hindu Aum symbol, seems like a very specific and odd detail to add
Fuck Hinduism, the Om symbol has been homogenized to just mean "altirnativ n spirichul n gud vibez".New-age hippie vegan people tend to gravitate towards hinduism. I'm actually surprised she isn't one of those kooky alt medicine weirdos.Tikva, are you telling me that somebody who would be into a weird hippie lifestyle like polyamory would have some kooky ideas about science and diseases?
Gosh, who could have seen this coming?
Nothing here says she isn't. I'm not saying that Tikva is or isn't, just that alternative medicine isn't being completely separated from establishment medical standards and masks are actually pretty attractive to alt care health nuts. There are those that fully rejected all modern medical care but quite often people just use alt med to support normal care or only to some conditions. This is definitely a spectrum. Actually most people use some home remedies but do use real drugs, doctors and standard care as a rule.I'm actually surprised she isn't one of those kooky alt medicine weirdos.
What is that cowboys thing about? I really don't get it. Is it a pop culture refrence or what?View attachment 1522078
Oh what a surprise, as soon as Tikva's husband is out of the picture Rajeev just happens to be able to move into the apartment next door. I was starting to feel a tiny bit sympathetic there but fuck her, she has learned nothing. I have to wonder if her and Rajeev actually planned and announced this a while ago and it was the straw that broke the camel's back for Vajra?

That is... Well it's something all right.Brokeback Mountain reference.
But they're straight. Doesn't this make Kimchi Cuddles problematic?Brokeback Mountain reference.

God, I just can’t get over the man’s weird flesh beard! Lol!View attachment 1576269
Vajra nooooooooooooo
Also did this happen for real or is this her trying to make her life look tots awesome again? It's pretty clear that she has white washed her life multiple times. Poly life is the bestiest, worst part being scheduling and all hard feelings are monos or unicorn chaser being unreasonable. She is strong, compassionate and great at communicating with people. Just look all these text walls, that's how real people talk.View attachment 1576269

These "artists" don't understand the "show, not tell" aspect in comics. The drawing style in these, when paired with the text, just irritates me somehow.
I think the problem as that approaching a very serious and complex issue via comics with no real visual talent to speak of is a self defeating paradigm. It's like if you were in a combat zone and your corporal got his position of leadership by being really good at Doom.
If there's absolutely no weight in your aesthetics, why would anyone reading a comic attribute weight to your words? Write a fucking essay, faggot.
Edit To Add: If the cause is THAT important to you and you NEED to make comics (maybe for the sake of mass appeal), why not just learn to draw? It's not that hard, it just demands persistence. If the issue at hand is truly what defines you, why the fuck would you let a universal skillset hold you back?
Maybe it's not important enough to this loser.
