I take it that's what led to this?Ironically, at one point back in the day they aired it on Fox Kids.

When I was a kid I always thought that Hank was an exaggerated character who takes unusual pleasure in extremely mundane things. But as I grew older, I was able to identify with Hank more. I actually use that line "why would anyone do drugs when they could just mow a lawn" as a personal mantra that I personally live by and try to enjoy the simpler things in life.I posted this in another thread, but I think it belongs here.

If Hank was born around the same time Bobby was I can see him as being into SimFarm back in the early 90's. To an extent I could see him playing SimAnt too, until modern Dale stole and broke the disc due to seeing it as pro-ant propaganda. Modern Boomhaur meanwhile would acquire a mass collection of various porn games and (especially) videos, even "not really" porn stuff like Leisure Suit Larry. Actually Boomhaur would see him as his role model. Bill would just escape into fantasy games and eventually MMOs to escape his very sad real life. Hank and friends would still invite him to everything out of sheer pity, though. When I was a kid I always thought that Hank was an exaggerated character who takes unusual pleasure in extremely mundane things. But as I grew older, I was able to identify with Hank more. Sometimes I wonder if there could ever exist a modern day parallel to Hank Hill in today's world and what sort of things he would enjoy. For example if classic Hank likes working on his truck, lawn care and building things, would modern Hank enjoy building PCs and playing farming/truck simulator games? I guess the obvious answer is that modern Hank would still be doing the same things old Hank did like mowing lawns and building wooden sheds, but I like to imagine the spirit of Hank lives on somewhere even if they're into different things.
I thought Rusty Shackleford was the name Dale Gribble used when he ordered Pizza delivery. He (John McAfee) already released the footage of the FBI raid of the island under the name Rusty Shackleford (Name of a youtube account speculated to be John McAfee's), who from what I understand, is a character on King Of The Hill who faked his death and was living under an assumed name.
Rusty Shackleford was Dale's alias for everything he was paranoid about the US government knowing about, even minor mundane things. When asked Dale would say it was the name of their classmate that died in 3rd grade (or some elementary school grade) but a later episode revealed the real Rusty Shackleford was very much alive and living a difficult life due to Dale having effectively stolen his identity.I thought Rusty Shackleford was the name Dale Gribble used when he ordered Pizza delivery.
I remember the alias part, but I forgot they made RS into a real person for an episode.Rusty Shackleford was Dale's alias for everything he was paranoid about the US government knowing about, even minor mundane things. I miss how Bobby was more of a gamer in the earlier seasons. Weird how Mike Judge's characters were never interested in video games in his shows. if they were, they were the nerdy loser characters like Stewart from Beavis and Butt-Head or the two college nerds from Grand Theft Arlen episode.I prefer the slower talking deeper voiced Dale from early seasons.
If you don't watch it, you're going to end up like Jason Adderley's boy.I miss how Bobby was more of a gamer in the earlier seasons. Doesn't look nearly fat enough to me.The average janitor on Reddit.
There was that episode in the Beavis and Butt-Head revival where they stumble across controls for military drones and it immediately reminds them of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.I miss how Bobby was more of a gamer in the earlier seasons. Peggy was super into Pong, if that counts for anything.I miss how Bobby was more of a gamer in the earlier seasons. The joys of having a boomer mindset at a young age. Yup.When I was a kid I always thought that Hank was an exaggerated character who takes unusual pleasure in extremely mundane things. But as I grew older, I was able to identify with Hank more. If KOTH were on in today’s present world, Reddit would have a fit over this quote.I married a man, Hank! Not a…gamer!
