Let's talk gadgets that actually do not suck and are useful

The one I always talk about is the crockpot, I love my crockpot because I can make a large amount of food without having to stand in front of the stove for an hour. The only thing I wish it could do was brown ground beef and onions nicely because I always have to do that in a pan before transferring to the crockpot. Otherwise it's great for all kinds of things.

An infomerical can opener. It has never failed to open a can, ever. I've used others and this is the most sucessful one because it has no bullshit other than you clamp it onto a can and twist the knob. Parents owned one and now I own one.

I also like using mine to heat water for pasta instead of using the gas on the stovetop.
