air fryer? what the hell is that
now that is some black magic. i think my parents might like to have one these. thank you
My goal over the years since not being a poor college fuck any more is OXO all the things, it's been worth every god damn penny.OXO Good Grips swivel peeler. Not only has my family had one for a good 20 years and never needed to sharpen it, it has not rusted and it’s both comfortable to hold and lives up to the name “Good Grips”. Best tool ever.
Otherwise... I’d second the rice cooker.
I love my crockpot because I can make a large amount of food without having to stand in front of the stove for an hour. The only thing I wish it could do was brown ground beef and onions nicely because I always have to do that in a pan before transferring to the crockpot. Otherwise it's great for all kinds of things.
I don't have many kitchen appliances (hell I don't have a toaster) but I use my waffle iron pretty often.
I'm looking into getting one. I essentially worship my crockpot so I think it'd be a great addition to the kitchen arsenalThe instant pot is really cool and will cook damn near anything
Those are fine if you don't have a traditional blender and you want to make smoothies/milkshakes for one person at a time. They are badly designed though, the action of the motor will loosen the screw off top/blade thing and if you get any leaked food in the bottom of that base unit it's a bitch to clean it.If you guys wanna see some shitty ones check out Mike Jeavons on YouTube, he goes through and tests these items.
A friend of mine told me a hell of a lot of these informercial items are for disabled people, specific to people with the inability to move.
A tiny convection oven that people use to "fry' french fried potatoes.air fryer? what the hell is that
I just use a flat grater. The cheapest yet cutest colander for small amount of cooked rice/pasta/beans, etc.
