Crossposting off the main thread, I've apparently contracted the coof and passed through "peak" symptoms, which were minor by my standards. Sense of smell and taste disappeared 1-2 days after symptoms really became noticeable. No loss of appetite but mild gastro effects, so always take your probiotics. I broke a nasty fever right off the bat by donning 4 layers and turning the heat up, and it hasn't come back.
I was loading Zinc consistently, but when the first indicators of illness appeared (very mild) I started loading vitamin C as well. Currently dosing hard on D, C, and Zinc. Mostly it just feels like I got a rock inside my dome (head), and my nasal passages feel like they got scrubbed with bleach.

I tested positive last Tuesday and I totally lost my sense of taste and smell on Thursday. I had some minor aches and pain and severe congestion. Now, I'm symptom-free except for my taste and smell. I've heard some people never get those senses back which is scary

I woke up and I was coughing up a storm, my nose was running like crazy, and my throat felt like it was swallowing 25 grit sandpaper the entire night. I felt like hell, to say the least.
I shot my manager an email letting them know about the condition I was in, and they wrote back to me the next day (the day I was supposed to be in at work.) But I didn't get the email until a few days later for some reason, and replied back as soon as I got it, which was on Sunday. Almost immediately, she messages me back saying about how I've committed job abandonment and that I was fired. So I guess she wanted me to come in and infect all of our customers?
I didn't wanna give the virus to any customers shopping. I worked at a Kohl's. You get old people out the ass there. I didn't wanna be responsible for a grandma dying.
So I got jobless while infected! Yaaaay!

Coworker got sick around the 20th of this month, died yesterday, she was in her 60s though and refused to go to the hospital. Girlfriend got it earlier this month and it was about 2 weeks straight of coughing... fine now though, she's in her 20s. I haven't had as much as a cough, didn't get tested though.

I got the coof. I wish I could say I got it from premarital eye contact with @P5Fever, but she just leaves me on "read." Got a decent fever going, chills, body aches, and a bitching headache. None of the gooey symptoms associated with upper respiratory infections have started yet.

Captain's Log
Day 0: Fly back from UK on business. On the flight a nignog had a fight with a british guy because he told her to put on her mask. The british guy proceeded to powerlevel that he was a pilot throughout the rest of the journey. Too bad neither of them were kicked off the flight.
Day 5: Go to see primary physician for unrelated condition. Nurse was ranting about the 'truth about vaccines' and was an antivaxxer (while giving me a flu shot)
Day 6: itchy throat. attribute it to blasting the central heating.
Day 7: test negative so go to small house party where everyone has tested negative. have a few strong drinks. at 3am start to feel extremely nauseous. when i got home had insomnia till 6am
Day 8: throat feeling gets worse. 30% diminished smell and taste. very occasional unproductive dry cough (literally 1 cough every few hours). feeling of difficulty breathing and wheezing. oxygen levels at 99% and no fever. continued insomnia. the insomnia feels like my heart is just racing and my body is stuck in parasympathetic mode.
Day 9: same as day 8 and the feeling of not being able to breathe properly is bad enough to make me search up availability with the doctors office. took magnesium, benadryl and melatonin before bed which did the trick
Day 10: Feel 80% better. Still diminished taste and smell but breathing feels much better. weird headaches on back of skull. send another test but it gets stuck in the mail so have to wait while another test is sent to me.
Day 11: Both tests came back negative so I must be hallucinating my symptoms. Continued weird heart palpitations and episodes of extreme nausea. On occasion O2 levels drop to 97%
Day 12: Still diminished smell and taste, phlegmmy congested feeling but nothing comes up when I cough or blow my nose.
Seems I have a relatively mild case and hope I'm not one of the long haulers
