Let's Sperg Kiwis Play Civilization 2 - The Civiest of Civs

Hello and welcome the year 1996

So this is kind of a test game to attempt to figure out how this concept would work with Civ 2. It might work well, or it might be a fucking disaster. Basically the user input will boil down to naming cities, deciding what technologies to research, determining what to build and determining who to go to war with or make buddies with. Because of the nature of Civ 2 updates will have to be in video form rather than screenshots most of the time. Important shit will be screenshots so when we get like 10 minute turns you don't have to watch it all if you don't feel like it.
SO:
Time to make our world
When I am able to choose a random world generation thingy I will things that will be randomized:
-Land Mass
-Land Form
-Climate
-Temperature
-Age
-Number of civilizations
-Barbarian activity


First post determines the size of the map (small, medium, large)
Second post determines the difficulty (Chieftain (easiest) Warlord, Prince, King, Emperor, Deity (hard mode))
Third post determines the gender (of me) and the name of our civilization and the name of our leader

I did a kiwi ck2 style thing last year which died after a patch stopped my game before i could save enough screenshots to conclude the story. I think something like that in a more aar style might work better than the cyoa style we've seen recently.

An after action report game would probably run better but I cannot resist delicious anarchy. This first game is just kind of to test the waters and see how it goes. Depending on what happens in this game the second game will more than likely have different rules.
Essentially each turn will be an and my turn will not end until I get told what to do. The first few dozen turns will probably be screenshot based because nothing much happens but once all the civilizations are found and turns take a long time they'll probably have to be videos.
I'm super rusty at Civ 2 so alongside this game I'll be playing a regular game to refresh myself so we don't get murdered in 30 turns

Alright, so we're gonna just build our first city where we started because it's hard to say "GO OVER BY THE GRAPES, NO THE OTHER GRAPES" anyway, we have to name our city
First post decides the name of the Kiwi capital
Second post decides what to build first
