The artist probably has no familiarity with firearm mechanics and he probably wanted to have something cool on them. He might have seen a Beretta 93R and thought those angled foregrips looked good but again, no familiarity with firearm mechanics.

Fantastic and informative post on the history of the Korps. I'm not entirely surprised that it had very mundane beginnings. What's most surprising is that their old history of actually being evil was sanitized. Did you find any nuggets of info on what actual acts of evil they committed? Genocides? Hostage murders? Torture? I'm curious as to what they considered to be too much, since the bar is already set at ankle height because of twitter. Kind of amazed they even get away with what they do now, since anti militarism and anti cop sentiments are so unanimous among their crowd.

I feel like there's nothing more I can say that hasn't been said by others more eloquently. If your desire to 'be a woman' is because you think it's as simple as a video game character creation screen and that nothing changes besides your physical appearance, you're straight up retarded. Women are not only raised differently -not only in western society but the entire world- but are subject to different social norms, societal expectations and a whole host of other things. Simply 'choosing' to be a woman is flat out impossible. You'd lack the socialization, experience of how women are treated during early years, teens, adulthood, you'd have zero experience with female anatomy or the internal workings of said anatomy, you'd have no knowledge of genuine life struggles that women face because you're just a man that has co-opted the physical form of a woman. You have fundamentally misunderstood the separation of the sexes if you think the only thing that makes them different is outward physical appearance.

I'm not sure what he means when he says to separate 'To feel or to be' because to 'feel like a woman' is entirely subjective and likely different for every single person based on their perception of what a woman 'feels like' in society. As anyone who has taken the time to examine AGPs or transtrenders (or encountered Buffalo Bill), feeling like a woman most commonly equates to 'wearing a dress and stroking my cock' which, and bear with me here this might be groundbreaking, does not sound like the average female experience. To be is entirely different, and impossible if you're a man.

However, note particularly that nobody, especially not trannies, separate male and female into sexes anymore. It's always gender. This twisting of the language opens up the loophole that 'gender is whatever you define it as' or 'gender is societal constructs that need to be destroyed' which are the competing ideologies which make up the new reality we all apparently live in according to troons and somehow modern sciences. The funniest part is that these ideologies compete so fundamentally despite being on the same side. If gender is a construct to be destroyed, what are transgenders and why should they exist? If to be transgender is to identify as the opposite sex in society and be subject to the societal treatment one would expect from said sex, isn't that re-enforcing gender norms and the omnipresent boogeyman of the gender binary?

Asking simple questions like this makes the entire transgender movement crumble to pieces if you apply any level of critical thought. More importantly it highlights that nobody at all has any idea what they're doing, campaigning for, or supporting. It's a huge case of armchair activism where you say the words to collect your good deed for the day and think nothing of it after the fact. There's little to no cohesion in the greater whole of transgenderism. Ironic that most trannies have little to no cohesion in their own lives either.

If I were to offer counter-advice to Strype's final tweet in that thread, it would be thus: If you desire to be a gender other than your body sex, consider disconnecting from the internet for a while. Go take some walks in nature, call your real-life friends and hang out. Go drink at a bar, go eat at a restaurant, immerse yourself in the reality we're all currently living in and not the faux-reality that internet groomers peddle. Do the things you enjoy that involve physical activity, go to the gym, spend some time looking after yourself away from the computer. Startlingly, this may make you feel more comfortable in your own skin and loose the hooks a groomer has on your brain due to your complete lack of self-image or self confidence. Being stuck infront of a computer screen all day without meaningfully interacting with the world around you must erode the brain's self image extremely fast due to getting no opportunites to be present in or change physical reality around it. In short, go the fuck outside.

Strype in particular interests me of this group because he seems very determined to portray a knowledgeable authority figure on troon topics. It's definitely an ego thing, and if I had to guess he does it because he doesn't have much control or authority on other factors of his life. He's certainly got little control over his work ethic if older posts in the thread are anything to go by. He has the graces of someone pretending to know what they're doing at all times but failing to fool anyone, much like claiming to be 'so high' on a CBD product that boldly stated 'NO THC' on the packaging. I do wonder what kind of disaster he'll find himself in eventually, and how quickly the grift will open as a result. My bets are on once he realizes he can beg for money and get just as much if not more while doing less work, all of those backlog commissions are donezo and that money is gone.

As far as our research can tell us they all, for one reason or another, drifted away from the project before or in 2008. Here's a small, semi-random selection of souls who probably look on today's Korps and ask themselves "where did it all go wrong?".

As @Emperor Percival Tachyon's post illustrates, this guy can be described in four words: fully-engorged Soviet fetish. With a side of lizards and pencil drawings. Most of the early Korps artwork that presented them as a military force complete with commissars seems to have been drawn by this guy. He didn't seem to be very political, either. He just really liked Soviet aesthetics.

Not much to be said about this one. He drew a few pieces, was in friendly terms with Dave Sr. (the striped dragon girl in Tachyon's post is the female version of his avatar), then wandered off to do his own thing.

Where are they now?​

Successful furry porn artist. His DeviantArt was almost completely wiped at some point, and his FA starts in 2010, but it can be safely assumed he spent some time in the My Little Pony fandom. Not much more to be said about him. There's just a lot of furry porn in his FA gallery. From a quick scan he doesn't seem to cater to the Korps' usual kinks in particular, though. He draws cyborgs fairly often as commissions, but it all blends into the background noise of gay porn and bog-standard, non-brainwashed big-titted furry dickgirls. There may still be Korps-themed pictures or commissions somewhere in his gallery, but they would not be recent.​

Another pretty generic one. He's the one who came up with the "robots/androids/cyborgs/whatever on the moon" division of the OG Korps. He may have been underage (16 or 17) at the inception of the Korps, but since there didn't seem to be much publicly published Korps-themed porn at the time (mostly erotica passed as "propaganda" and "motivation") it was probably not a big deal.

Where are they now?​

Middling furry artist, possibly a recovering porn artist. Went through an edgy phase on DeviantArt post-Korps, then switched usernames, hopped to FurAffinity and... left to DeviantArt again fairly recently after closing shop on FA. There is good amount of porn by him floating online, but contrary to Javkiller his output for the past couple of years is much tamer. He also draws a lot of cyborgs, but much like Javkiller there's no indication of a mind control kink. His featured image on DeviantArt is his own take on a Strype/Dave Jr. picture, but with a human character.​

Dave Sr. was in contact with her and did some simultaneous/collaborative drawing with her using an early version of OpenCanvas (a popular art program at the time that boasted a networked drawing option similar to Drawpile). There are a couple references to her sprinkled about, and one or two OpenCanvas pictures, but that's about it.

Non-furry artist. Still drawing, although she doesn't seem to do it professionally or take commissions. She's always seemed to be more interested in anime, with furries as a phase. No obvious kinks, zero connection to the Korps.​

This one is fun. This guy draws a lot of creepy shit. Like, real ugly 90s 'zine material in pen and ink. Eerily reminiscent of some old Tim Burton works, or that old furry webcomic, Jack. Another one who drew a couple Korps-themed things, talked to Dave Sr., orbited and commented a bit, then moved on.

Still drawing exactly the same things, exactly the same way 15 years later. You've got to admire the guy's consistency. Again, no NSFW content (thank God), just creepy shit, and zero connection to the Korps.​

So, what does this little selection of people tell us? Two things:

First, that, as the title says, they dodged a few bullets by distancing themselves from Dave Sr. before it all went to shit. The ones that are still active and could be tracked don't seem to have trooned out. Even the one who's neck-deep in furry porn to this day is lightyears more productive than Strype ever was. They also show that the original Korps was broader in scope and themes than what it is now.

Second: this reinforces the current theory that the Korps effectively became an one-man show with Dave Sr. in his Furaffinity account, with only a few minor hangers-on until he decided to go all-in on the mind-control fetish and subsequent trooning out. 2008 to 2012 must have been really lonely, mental illness-inducing years for the guy. All we're missing now is the story of how Daves Sr. and Jr. found each other.
