くまのレストラン - Interesting look into the afterlife?

There’s an game on the iOS AppStore called Bear Restaurant or くまのレストラン. It’s a pretty good game sorta looking into the afterlife.

I've seen the sprite rips before but never played it. Looks like ex brownie brown stuff.

Yeah, it's translated. Super-casual and short, but comfy enough. Also, be aware that only about half of the game is free - the story eventually hits a cliffhanger, at which point you are invited to cough up a couple of bucks ($3? I forget exactly) for the full version to see how it ends. Which is fair enough, I suppose.

Also, an indirect sequel was recently released (also translated) called Fishing Paradiso, which features almost every single character from KR, is playable in full with occasional video ads, and has actual (though still hardly strenuous) gameplay. It's cute.

Just learned that you can get the second half of the game for free if you feed a cat in game. But you have to feed the cat 9999 fishes. One fish drops down from the top of the screen every 6-8 seconds.

So I fed 9999 fishes to the cat and got to play the second half of the game. Now I can’t play the post game. It’s locked behind a paywall.
