Sustained Denial of Service attacks. Paid for botnet. Service will continue to be disrupted until I can contact other providers and arrange a fix. Sister services to the forum will have longer downtime. There's still ongoing service-level attacks which are causing intermittent errors and general slowness.

I seriously think Dragoneer has some sort of mental issue a'la Aaron McCulske, only instead of habitually uploading random videos full of nonsense, Neer impulsively tweets out free advertisments for random products. His personal Twitter sometimes seems like it's a Markov bot that's been fed product taglines and old memes.
The only thing Dragoneer is missing is can ugly suit and tie, he has everything else a sleezy car salesman has.

It wasn't, kudos to you for finding this! I don't think it's 'Neer though this time, unless I mistake what his actual role is as far as the site itself goes. He sold it to IMVU so for all we know, this could be them going strong with their advertising arm. I wouldn't put it past him to be this clueless though; hell, he put a possible rapist in on the moderator staff against massive user outcry.
He's the site's "director" and is most certainly still in control of the Twitter account, since it still occasionally spews out ads for his convention, which isn't under the control of IMVU.

I was actually planning a runthrough of this one, since both @KidKitty and @c-no expressed a desire to see me grind its face in the dirt until it cried. It's easy to think how, after Hackers vs Banksters and I Get This Call Every Day, it's nice to see something at least functional, with actual effort put in. Thing is, Klace isn't responsible for that. He used stock assets, Google image blurs, and art from halfway-decent professional artists. The plot is a complete ripoff of Persona 4.
David Gallant created more original content than this the nanosecond he recorded an audio asset.
And as much as the game was better than the two you played, as it was said before, Klace used Google images that were blurred, and the plot not only ripped off Persona 4, it also delves a bit in stroking Klace's OC. The fact it's in RPG Maker, you'd think combat could be thrown in but alas, it's just a pure VN. Renpy would of been a better alternative in making a VN.

One of the things that would make one laugh is this review Klace used for the game.
“In terms of storytelling and resolution, think Mass Effect with a better ending.”
In all honesty, there most likely wouldn't be anything new with this "re-release" other than Klace wanting to squeeze out a few more dollars from people.
So cut down to pieces from its originally intended, in-meta world building to the most condensed gathering of choices leading to functionally the same, if slightly variable, ending?
Hell if I know, no one outside of furries would spend money to play this. Plus the story itself, which would be any reason one would play VN's just seems to be convoluted outside of ripping off one of the Persona games. It doesn't help that it has the sparkledog radioactive art style, especially with the other characters shown in the let's play that was done by Rev of Vinesauce.

It is a horror game after all. You don't get much choice in how to react to the neon radioactive furries and instead become more or less a mindless zombie that praises the OC of the creator of the game. All around you is nothing but furry creatures that might end up asking you if you want to yiff with them or something like that.
If it makes it any better, there are some game collectors who were buying the original release on steam under the likely presumption that it'll most likely be removed since it comes with the complete version for free anyways. Also the original release had a good sale and since both have card drops it apparently gives out a shitload of steam trading cards to sell for your money back.
These aren't people who care about quality, they just want to collect games that get taken off of digital storefronts.
