These kinds of people like to remind us that cultures are relative, that different populations of people will interpret the same thing in different ways, as a result of their cultural backgrounds. They seem to forget about that pretty fast when they find the rare non-Westerner who has said something that can be interpreted as pro-"SJW." The relevant context here is that the default attitude towards foreigners in Japan is equivalent to what would be considered "far-right" or "identitarian" in Western countries. That is not an exaggeration at all; plenty of mainstream figures in Japanese life, including Shinzo Abe, has a attitude towards race, demographics, and historical revisionism that would be fringe, if not illegal, in most Western countries. But Pedro thinks none of that is relevant, because some animator or producer had a vague "don't bully foreigners" attitude in one of his shows. This guy truly has shit for brains.
