The Pedantic Romantic is a tranny anime YouTuber going by Lachlan Still that specializes in analyzing anime through an LGBT lens. Spending his time playing the "everyone I don't like is a Nazi" game, reveling in how unabashedly progressive he is, and disabling their comment's section because no matter how many times he tries to be controversial, he doesn't seem to get the memo that being controversial means people probably won't agree with you. Of course this is fine, as they can go onto Twitter and whine to their cavalcade of fans, only visualized as lesbian-obsessed trap-hungry anime avatars.




Truly, it is quite big brained.

I've made the "Safe" but perhaps foolish decision to pursue a college educcation. Throughout my life my grades hae been the only thing that could be called "top-tier," b ut now i"ve added videos to that short list, and those are a hell of a lot more personally satisfying and rewarding. This semester I am officially taking a "leave of absence," looking to see how much of an audience and patron base I can build up in an attempt to determine how viable this can be. I am slated to return to classes this spring, but hopefully with your support I can make enough money off of this to say "no, dad, I should totally drop out of college to post videos about anime to the Internet." There's no way I can stop making these things now; I'm addicted, but with your help I can make them bigger, better, and faster.

Of course, as he is the PRotagonist of our little story, he eventually succeeded his $400 per video goal, and did proceed to drop out of college and is now producing anime reviews on YouTube full time.

As of the writing of this article, Lachlan's Patreon now works on a per month instead of video basis, which means he is making a little over minimum wage. Not bad for a college flunkie. And even then he can't support himself without editing other people's videos too.

The Pedantic Romantic is not afraid to completely alienate other's from his circle due to politics, as that is "privileged."

This liberal resonating is shaky when you consider the fact that he is very, very keen on Digibro, even called a Digibro Dickrider, who just so happens to be a self admitted pedophile. I guess that means that falls perfectly in line with Lachlan's beliefs.
Also, aside from the twitter he primarily uses to promote their anime videos (along with it's political opinions), it also possesses a personal Twitter where they go by Lachlan and post tilted camera angle selfies like all troons do, hot lesbo drawings, and their political opinions. Along with their taste in 3D, apparently.

Recently, following in suit with the Anime Pope himself Geoff Thew, Lachlan also felt it necessary to weigh in on the Goblin Slayer argument in his "Bring Back the Romance" series that has been stirring the pot recently. This particular video is it's most unliked video as of now.
In a twist that rival's the betrayal of Brutus, Lachlan actually went on to upload a video stating that they were in fact "wrong" in their Goblin Slayer video.
However, this is obviously damage control as he spends little time on him actually being at fault, mainly blames the video's massively poor reception on Goblin Slayer's "rabid fanbase", the video being "too confrontational", and said the YouTube algorithm was majorly to blame because anger drives views.

In the same "Bring Back the Romance" series, Lachlan also made a little bit of an uproar on the friendly forum's of Reddit's r/anime, with a video in which he sucks off a seasonal garbage anime for having a lesbian grandmother character and then makes the utterly groundbreaking observation that sexual content is explicit in anime.
As if they couldn't just rustle the grass, they had to brag about it too.

Lachlan also runs a secondary channel called Trans Culture Club, where he and fellow tranny otaku Zeria (the afro'd gentleman pictured above) talk about yuri in real time.
