Why didn't Chris include a Tails recolor in the Sonichu comics? In the Sonic games, Tails practically devotes his existence to Sonic. He is Sonic's loyal sidekick and best friend. Why doesn't Tails get so much as a cameo in the comics? It would seem that a character defined by admiration of the hero would work perfectly within Sonichu's setting. Did Rosechu fill this niche, rendering a Tails recolor redundant?

I find it interesting that Chris created an Eevee + Tails character on the Wall of Originals, but didn't include it in the comics. Is Sonichu too good for a sidekick? Or does Sonichu play the role of Tails to Chris's comic alter ego?

A fine trifecta of points:

1.) Chris had no friends growing up, much less anyone who would play video games with him, meaning no one to play as Tails.

2.) Chris prefers mindless slaves over sidekicks.

3.) The school-boy whisperings of "SONIC AND TAILS ARE GHEY" was more than enough reason to exclude Tails/a Tails-like proxy from the comics.

In Chris's universe, interpersonal relationships are exclusively of heterosexual romantic nature. Same-sex buddy-type non-sexual friends do not exist (probably because Chris never experienced that himself). So he couldn't work Tails into the Sonichu world.

Considering that Chris (probably) didn't wait too long to create Chris Chan Sonichu, and introduced himself in a Sub-Episode in Issue 0, Sonichu became the sidekick as soon as Chris Chan Sonichu was born. Rosechu could never be a sidekick because girls only like shopping, cooking, and being kidnapped occasionally.

Why hasn't he ripped off tails yet?

Enerjakop, feel free to give one of you're deliciously long winded responses.

My theories include, to hard to draw, or (like me) when he was young thought tails was a girl because of his voice and (unlike me) masterbated to/crushed on/was atracted to him.

Personally, I don't think he rips off anyone else from the Sonic universe because they're too hard to draw, but in Tails' case, it might be something else.

Tails is often (always?) touted as Sonic's best friend. As a result, Chris-Chan might feel at least a little threatened by Tails' position in relation to Sonic. I mean, if Chris is insecure enough, he might think that a "Tails" character paired with his Sonichu might become Sonichu's best friend, to the detriment of his own relationship with his fantasy character.

But honestly, I think Chris-Chan is too lazy to draw anyone else other than his electric-hedgehog pokemon crossovers because frankly once he has one, all he needs do is glue some extra parts (like wings) and recolor and HEY PRESTO It's a new member of the CWCville universe. I mean, he copies Knuckles and just makes him a sonic(-chu) recolor for God's sake. He'd probably just give Lolisa an extra tail or something if he wanted to have a Tails character ...

MMM ... Lolisa with extra tail ... that sounds pedotastic.

That's what Chris says anyway. I mean, just the whole "I'm straight" bit shows that he's at least aware of uncomfortable truths about himself that he feels he has to vocally cover and deny at every opportunity. I'm sure he's aware he has a whiny, 'faggy' quality to his vocalization ... which Tails always seems to get in every animation and cut-scene

How can I refuse an invitation like that?

Sureiachan's theory is pretty close to my own guess, on the matter.
The only real difference is that, where Sureiachan surmises that Tails threatens Chris' position as Sonic's best friend, I believe that Chris cannot relate with the concept of a Tails character, because he cannot relate to the idea of having a friend.

Chris lived a very isolated childhood, his closest companion a pixelated hedgehog. He liked leading his digital minion through all manner of dungeons, but often wished that he had "a player two" to play with. Note the term I use: play. Not "work" with. Not "interact" with. No, he wanted to PLAY with them.

I'm pretty sure that Chris likes acting as a god figure. He likes building his ideal world out of Legos, and giving his creations life as citizens of Cwcville. In his comics, even the bravest heroes fear losing the guidance of their benevolent ruler. Being someone who is followed and adored appeals to him, and his lack of Socialization has lead him to think he deserves such treatment. As Chris grew up, he became convinced that he only needed a single minion to make all of his desires a reality. Thus he relates with his hero (Sonic/Sonichu) seeking and obtaining a romantic partner, who is very complacent (Amy/Rosechu). Seriously, if Amy is Chris' ideal woman, it explains a lot. Amy makes June Cleaver look empowered. She lives only to please her man, and routinely needs him to save her.

Chris never really wanted to have a person sharing in his glory or helping him with his creative work, so the role of Tails (a comrade) never appealed to him. While Sonic would obey his commands, Tails would act on his own, following his primitive AI system. During gameplay, Tails would sometimes help Chris, and sometimes hinder him (sort of like a real friend) but he could never be controlled by Chris. (Yes, I know that you could select him as a playable character. However he could not be controlled at the same time as Sonic. YES, I KNOW HE COULD, IF THE PLAYER MASTERED PLAYING BOTH CONTROLLERS SIMULTANEOUSLY, BUT THAT IS BESIDE THE POINT!) I don't think Chris liked having this "wild card" around.

Chris likes to be surrounded by slaves, who obey his commands. He has always wanted a woman he can manipulate into caring for him, but I have yet to hear him once request a simple platonic friendship with anyone. He likes to have adversaries, to overcome (Knuckles/Punchy, Robotnik/Robotnik) these make him feel important and capable. But a colleague? A pal? That's something that is just too alien a concept, for Chris.

I think Sureiachan and Enerjakop pretty much hit the nail on the head with this one. Also though, when you think about it, tails has always been second to Sonic, Tails is a sidekick, not the hero. Such as how Chris view himself better than other autistics, he probably also views Sonic as greater than tails. While Chris does have other "original" characters (the other hedgehogs), they all follow the theme of being, well, hedgehogs. I think in Chris' mind Tails, who would stand out, would mess with the balance of CWCVille and would be nothing compared to the hedgehogs.

It could also be as simple as the fact that Chris can't draw tails well, or has some weird crush with Sonic. I think that this would be a good question to ask him in the next Q&A session.

Aye, I concur with the view of Chris not wanting a fart-minded JERK impinging on his harem. The male sonichu are depicted as being Chris's "children" and thus utterly under his power and in no way presenting any threat to him, as are all positively depicted males from the cwcville police to the judge. If any male exists he must either be an evil "JERK" who needs to be destroyed or a sychophantic and emasculated Chris worshipper who exists only to bow down to him and to help him get china

He made two, actually. Evails and Suppreon from the Wall of Originals, which includes many long-forgotten fake Pokemon.

Evails is an Eevee/Tails Hybrid While Supreon was a fusion of not a single pokemon but the concept of the Eeveelutions(5 at the time this was made) and Tails.

My guess is that the concept of friendship is too complex for him to be able to show it in his comic, as someone said before the only relationships that exist in Chris world are just of a romantic nature.

Hmm, I always assumed that Chris never drew a Tails recolor because he thought Tails was a girl, which was a common misconception back in the day, and he already had Rosechu as the main female character. Turns out I was wrong. He made a Tails recolor that never made it into the comics.
