Only correction I would make is that there's no "GGRevolt" faction. /ggrevolt/ was an off-branch #GamerGate board with an emphasis on freedom of speech and would allow anyone to post as long as it wasn't illegal. It spawned out of the main #GamerGate board on 8chan banning discussion of SJWs and consumer boycotts. Naturally the free speech aspect of the board attracted some dissidents who were banned from other communities, including Lane.
Lane eventually did stop posting on /ggrevolt/ because freedom of speech goes both ways, and he didn't like the anonymous users talking crap about him and his delusions.

/ggrevolt/ or GGRevolt is largely used now as a scapegoat for whenever someone who was associated with the #GamerGate does something off-base.

At which point Lane in his fucked mind thought his dad was dodging the question thereby admitting he was a pedophile, and then stabbed him to death.

If he is found sane then he'll likely get Life without parole. This trial won't be about whether or not he did it it'll be about rather or not he understood what he did.

 

Unfortunately Washington state did away from the death penalty. Minimum 20 years if found guilty.

Also, the argument Lane brought up, which started the fight was whether or not toddlers could consent to sex... I don't even fucking know.... but then his father tried to kick him out, and threatened to call the cops.

I like the Ralph Retort's new felony-assault-based editorial policy, to think I was criticising them a while back for not doing anything any more.

E: In the above video, the cops' statement is read out and it seems what caused S4T's initial rage is (in part) that Queer Kids Stuff video, that he somehow decided his father was defending. He also claimed paedophiles were 'taking over the country', and right before the assault he was convinced his parents would send him to prison for his violent threats. His mother's response was that they wanted to get him help, so apparently that was something of a pattern.

 

Washington still has the death penalty and has executed people. Like I said earlier his most likely punishment is life without of parole despite that becuase his crime has none of the aggravating factors that make him eligible for the death penalty.

Edit: Actually he is eligible for the death penalty but I still don't think he'll get it though. Very hard to get a death sentence in washington.

That's why I mentioned it since he hasn't taken a plea deal yet my guess is that the defense are banking on it. I am glad no plea deals have been made becuase when that argument fails and it likely will Davis will get a very harsh sentence.

 

Huh, I thought I read something about the governor canceling all executions. Not abolishing it, but everyone who had been given the death penalty got life instead.

The Zoepost dropped August 2013, GamerGate was cancerous as fuck by October 2013 and had full-blown emailing autism by January 2014. Anything after January 2014 was split into two teams; the GamerGate exceptional individuals who wanted to be friends with SJW's and "tone down" the shitposting and /ggrevolt/ who got their assblown by the mods for being AIDS + Cancer. Both groups were and still are and forever will be a bunch of spergy douchetards.

That being said, Syrian Girl interviewed Seattle4Truth which gave him a modicum of legitimacy because she had been reporting on the Syrian conflict. Also because she has those Angelina Jolie dick-gobbling lips.

 

Won't be until he is out of office. Executions will resume once someone else takes his place.
