Depends, how much money did he invest in it and for buy how much a share did he buy it? Also if he bought a significant amount on Robinhood he might be fucked. Might be hard for him to sell if the crypto crashes.
It depends when he bought in. Some people have become multimillionaires thanks to doge because it used to be dirt cheap but I think it's risky to get in now.

Is this his first time investing? If so, seeing his stock go up and down as a new timer probably gets him pretty pumped. Hopefully the excitement runs it’s course and he doesn’t become a regular on the dogecoin subreddit.
