I think it might be deeper than that, that is a part of it, but Laura definitely could've went personal army mode with this. Though he might've realized that in reading this, his clique are a bunch of shitheads incapable of even standing up for themselves, let alone even him. I never figured Boot to be one who did character designs for other people, it seems more like Laura spouted a bunch of characteristics and held them responsible to create a full-fledged Ampharos character. If it were solely his design, the proportions would be a lot more balanced, hands/pelvis wouldn't be as clunky and it would definitively appear more fluid, at least in the face. That, or it just might be a 5-minute doodle Laura claimed was a dedicated commission. Batt's art is a lot harder to get these days than it used to be.
