League of Legends: The Sperging Gamers -

Shocking enough, there hasn't been a thread about League at all-- or really any famous MMORPG. But we'll start with the one that has the most lolcows, and that appears to be League of Legends.

Considering it's just PvP, it's going to create an immense amount of sperging and rage. Something like this for example:

The community is infested with 9 year olds, tryhards trying to troll 9 year olds, zero social skills, and other "fun" lolcows-- Like almost all MMOs, but we're keeping it focus on this for now. This, and so many people take he game seriously, and some have even made it their lifeline IRL as a job streaming and playing competitions.

This is the place to discuss these types of people.

have i got just the dude for this thread, meet XJ9:

he was at one time a top ranked player in solo q and considered one of the more promising solo q junglers in the world. however, even early on it became clear that he was fucked up. toxicity is where we will start, he was notorious on the offical forums as well as leagues reddit community for being a massive troll. not only that, he was also well known for in-game toxicity. a former teammate of his (Kikomeprease) claimed "I've played on Absolute Legends NA (pre LCS era) when it was XJ9, me, Naya, Sneaky, and Evaniskus...dude [XJ9] would legit just AFK in tourney and scrims.". on top of that XJ9 was as known as JennyXJ9 and, using a voice changer, streamed posing as a girl for quite a while. well posing as a girl he catfished another player named Ehpick this is the chat log from when Ehpick finally found out that XJ9 was a guy: link. XJ9 would later claim in a skype call with StarCraft pro Destiny that he was trying to make Ehpick a better person and that had something to do with moral insight he gained from MLP (no seriously, i'll link that video series later in this post)

all that is just the set up for the shit that got XJ9 permabanned from the game. here is where i have to take an aside to explain something, XJ9 has an extreme irrational hatred of a champion called Lee Sin to the point where he will ban it every chance he gets and refuses to play the champion. with that out of the way, after it was out that XJ9 was for sure a guy XJ9 found himself in another internet relationship this time with a girl who went by the name of Gem. their relationship went about as you would expect considering XJ9 is an emotionally unstable manchild who thinks MLP gives grand moral teaching to those who will listen. eventually the relationship totally broke down and XJ9, in a fit of impotent nerd rage, used a password recovery exploit to gain access to his girlfriends account and lost a bunch of games on her account intentionally. now that (along with alleged elo-boasting) is what officially got him banned but what happened after is probably the real reason he is the most severely punished high-elo player in the history of the game. after the intentional loosing streak on her account Gem did something unspeakable, she played Lee Sin. XJ9 was furious and hurt so in another fit of impotent nerd rage he posted her nudes to facebook. That's when Destiny, a friend of Gem's, stepped in and a marathon of autism unlike any other ensued
