No, I think he really feels Entitled to a relationship because it's been promised to him. He just doesn't understand that when he says he's "entitled" it comes off chauvinistic and rude. It's just like when he was talking to Kacey's dad and he said "But I like when people kiss my ass or kiss up to me because it's better than the harsh and hurtful truths". He clearly wants people to be nice to him but because of his inability to socialize, he doesn't get that these statements come off different to "normal" people than he intends.
