Least favorite kind of lolcow? -

Is there a type of lolcow that makes you feel cringe instead laugh? Who makes you feel disgust, anger, or just plain annoyance instead of joy? Discuss it here!

For me, it's really hard to read about some horrorcows (cows whose antics aren't funny but are still morbidly fascinating). In particular, I can't stand people who abuse children and animals instead of keeping their crazy confined to themselves. Actually, I think I can even be more general than that; I have a hard time gaining amusement from lolcows who have managed to drag innocent people and animals down with them (child/animal abusers, lolcows that have or are around children and impact them negatively, lolcows who have boyfriends/girlfriends and are abusive/generally horrible toward them, etc).

I also don't like reading about lolcows who do fucking disgusting things (like people with particularly gross fetishes).

Most tumblrina lolcows, because they are all the same. Also because they attract other tumblrinas and their autistic tumblrina drama, and then you get Ballpit in general and the Stray Sheep thread in particular.

Depends on whether it's funny and gross or just disgusting and horrifying. For instance, slugfucker is pretty funny even though his fetish is pretty awful.

Someone like Nick Bate is just horrifying and infuriating, although it was very pleasing to see him finally get arrested.

The impending arrest was really the only reason to follow Nick. That was easily the funniest thing to happen to him.

Fandom threads always attract people who are part of the fandom in question who want to trollshield. The Steven Universe and brony threads ended up getting locked because there was more discussion of the shows in question than discussion of lolcows (the brony thread managed for quite a while, although it eventually succumbed).

I can say that as somebody who followed Nick before the arrest, his detestability and repulsiveness was the reason for his appeal. Personally I didn't just hate him, I loved to hate him and I found bile fascination in how disgusting he was. Hate can be a very passionate emotion.

Transtrender lolcows (the more socialjusticey kind, not the "I identify as a marsbarkin" kind) I know some transgender people, good friends of mine in fact, and I'm reminded of them all too much. I do think ADF is fun to follow though.

I'm gonna have to jump on the Nick Bate wagon here. While I'm rather new to his lolcow shenanigans, I don't really find myself laughing at him but rather feeling depressed and angry. Madthad is another pedophilic lolcow who also eventually got arrested because of it. Unlike Nick though he didn't molest anyone (not that I know of at least) but because he had a fuckton of CP on his hard drive. While CP is no laughing matter and that aspect of him is really fucking creepy, everything else about him is still fucking hilarious. His dumb Youtube videos, his weeaboo antics, and the fact that he got arrested and put in prison for five years for literally being a goddamn moron who doesn't seem to use any common sense is still pretty funny to me. Wheras with Nick, sure he might have a few amusing qualities but really, this whole situation is just...sad. I'm not trying to pity him but I really wonder what kind of environment he had to grow up in order to turn out like that.

Even though Chris is pretty much the king of lolcows, at the end of the day, he not really hurting anyone. Sure he's an entitled asshole but the worse he did was sprayed pepper spray in someone's face. Pepper spray sucks but anyone can get over that. This guy molested his own sister. She's going to have to live for that for the rest of her life. And given that she's growing up in the same environment that Nick grew up, I honestly don't know if she's has much hope, if any. While I do find Nick Bate to be interesting, I can't say I get the same sense of entertainment, if any really, in comparison to other lolcows.

I used to find tumblrinas amusing, but now they just bore me because, as @The Jumping Dwarf said, they're all the same, or I just get annoyed because yet again my political views (radical left) are being misused or misrepresented.

The somewhat weenish idea that someone being autistic or otherwise mentally disabled automatically makes them cow material also gets on my nerves a bit. Maybe I'm a bit picky.

I recall one such charmer on DA who tried to accuse me of homophobia. In response, I linked his appalling diaper-filled DA gallery for all to see...

Extreme racists, like what you see on Stormfront or Chimpout, probably come close to grossing me out. They can make lolcows of themselves when they're making up conspiracy theories about liberal Jews and multiculturalism, but otherwise they're just plain repulsive. On the other hand, as I've said elsewhere, the SJW crowd has burned me pretty bad too.

Which is worse? I probably have even less ideological overlap with the Chimpout crowd than the SJWs, insofar as I despise racism and identify more with the left than right wing of American politics. But the very fact that I have more common ground with SJWs means they're more likely to infiltrate my circles and make a nuisance within my earshot. Wackos on the right can be just as evil if not moreso, but they are easier for me to avoid.

For me it's the reverse trend that irritates me. As someone with Asperger's I don't care for "autism" being treated as a synonym for any cow-like behavior. Mind you, I don't believe this community is seriously anti-autistic, and I suspect most posters here only use "autism" in the same non-serious way everyone else uses "retard" or "schizo" (in reference to schizophrenia). But I wouldn't mind some confirmation that everyone here knows there's a difference between diagnosed autism and lolcows.

People like Nick Bate and Raven Sparks are just frustrating to follow because you know there are people around them that should really just put them away or tell them to cut the bullshit. They are such dullards and so predictable and get away with too many horrible and abusive things. But like a trainwreck, I can't help but watch them as they fail.
And of course, people with extreme fetishes like the guy that married a MLP doll. Like how much of a shut-in do you have to be to resort to this? And why do you broadcast it? Like, are they aware that this is utterly unacceptable?

I could easily say lolcows like Sick Nick and other horrorcows but they tend to go into the category of "This is really fucked up, but I can't stop looking". I think lolcows like Dobson is my least favorite kind becasue he's just nothing more than a plain asshole with mediocre art and an inflated ego (No pun intended) that demands praise for nothing. He just comes off as just annoying and rarely gives any genuine lols for me to care and that makes a bad lolcow for me personally.

Those who just repeat themselves constantly. Chris or Jace are funny because you never know what they'll come up next and just whenever you think you've got them figured out they do something completely unexpected.

Then on the other hand you have people like Holden or Brianna Wu or, like, pretty much all of Tumblr who just repeat the same Mantra over and over. "I hate women!", "GamerGate is literally Hitler!", "Goodra is female." over and over again like a broken record. They are kinda fun for a few days but get really old really soon and, to make it worse, keep sticking around forever.

They have every capability (or not) to help the industry but all they do is hypocritical bitching about stuff they can easily inspire people to fix with their "expertise". But nope, not even that.

At least like someone mentioned earlier with Chris and Jace - these guys are pretty damn funny to watch and hard to stop paying attention to, whereas fans of Entard, for example, need and deserve to have their shit and their shittier opinions they dare treat as fact completely ignored and forgotten once witnessed the first time, due to how unfunny, saddening, and/or infuriating it all comes off...

Child and animal abusers who get lolcow threads really get to me a lot and it becomes so damn hard to keep all those a-loggy impulses from spilling over to the keyboard. They really draw the line between being a cow and just being plain sad to hear about.

Also for some reason, I just could never get into cows like Pixyteri that much or the really niche sort of cows either.

Finally if they count, gimmicky sort of cows like that shitposter Dove that don't even put effort into their trolling and sperging.
