Since people like this idea, I'm going to rewrite the OP.

So, a great idea floated around the Russell Greer thread, and that idea was...

THE KIWI FARMS GAY MUSIC ALBUM FOR FAGGOTS (working title)

WHAT IS IT?
​

A collaborative album where anyone can contribute songs. When completed, it'll be uploaded for free to Bandcamp, with an optional pay-what-you-want price. All proceeds will go to Null so he can afford the pay for this website. Based on my estimates, the album will earn enough money to keep the site running for between 12-15 minutes.

WHAT KIND OF SONGS WILL BE ON THE ALBUM?

I'd like to either see original songs themed about Kiwi Farms in general. Songs about a specific cow, Null being gay, etc. or covers of existing songs written by cows (So Need a Cute Girl by Christian and the Hedgehog Boys, I Don't Get You, Taylor Swift by Russell Greer, etc.)

WHAT ARE THE RULES?

1. NO PARODIES OF EXISTING SONGS!​

However, as stated above, COVERS OF SONGS REMIXED BY LOLCOWS ARE FINE! For example, anything by Christian and the Hedgehog Boys is fine, as Chris wrote original lyrics for that, but Holding Out for a Hero isn't, because Chris directly sang the song with no alterations.

2. THE SONGS MUST HAVE ORIGINAL INSTRUMENTATION!​

If you were to, for example, cover Stuck in Lugia's Stomach Alone by JustinRPG, you'd not only have to redo the vocals, you'd also have create your own original backing track instead of just getting a karaoke version of Stuck in the Middle With You.
Soundclips/samples/sentence mixing are OK. The song also has to be new. No reuploading shit you already made, you lazy fuck.

3. IF YOU'RE SHIT, YOU WON'T GET ON THE ALBUM!​

Self explanatory.

4. 1 COVER PER ALBUM, 1 SONG PER ARTIST​

We don't need 50 covers of the same Chris Chan song, and we don't need half the songs on the albums coming from the same guy.

There are no genre restrictions, as long as it doesn't suck.

HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?

1. What song you'd like to do
2. What instruments and genres you play
3. An example of previous music you've written
4. If you need help creating the song, and what do you need? (Someone who can sing, produce, etc.)

Feel free to use this thread to float ideas around, and talk amongst yourselves.

Totally on board for gay music album for faggots. So all cows are in consideration? Is this a themed album (Christmas or genre or decade)? Also, I'm typically a classical musician, but that means I know how to compose so that may be of some help. Oh, and I sing. I can do different genres no problem.

ETA: Gay Music Album for Faggots had better be the official title.

I can sing, write lyrics and compose songs. I play rhythm guitar and have a couple of older buddies who would happily contribute lead and bass lines.

We could definitely get something going in blues/rock/folk/country vein. I wouldn't waste their time or mine trying to cover a lolcow original: I avoid explaining lore to my normie friends.

I've got a special interest in Jon Yaniv and he's an easily malked fount of lols. I'll listen to suggestions for other faggots, though. He's not a real gay, although I'd argue he's a huge faggot.

Will render services for free as long as any proceeds go to KF.

I think OP was talking about original instrumentals and not covers, though I recall 4chong stuff being covers/remakes (I may recall wrong).

Sounds fun! I used to have a similar idea where I'd create a spoof Emo-Post-Grunge-Pop-Punk band based on Dobson's shitty characters called "Sobson and The Lazy Posers", but I never got around to doing anything with the idea.

Wouldn't mind doing a collab like this, I'm a decent shredfag on the guitar and play acoustic, electric and a little bass. I'd be okay with both parodying existing songs and trying to write new ones for scratch. I'm not bad at writing riffs, melodies and chord progressions, but putting all my ideas together into one song isn't my forte.

Fellow guitar shredding Kiwi @Reynard might also be interested in a project like this.
