So if someone were to make a low-budget B movie about The Potato That Terrorized Two Coasts, what cliches / tropes / stereotypes would we see?

For example, I feel the movie should open with two scientists, named Dr. Dusty and Dr. Corrie, discussing how exposing potatoes to radiation will solve world hunger, with a whole bunch of faceless extras in the background that the potato won't remember later when it goes on its rampage.

It would be a movie like zero dark thirty but instead of Osama being hunted it would be Phil and instead of hunting him in the middle east it would be the west coast. Phil's secret compound will be full of his asspatters who Phil uses as meat shields to save his butt from being shot by the kiwi team 6

I'm a big fan of diagetic music in films. The potato's East Coast rampage should begin somewhere where Pharoahe Monch's Simon Says is being played (because he's an East Coast MC and the track samples the theme from Godzilla vs Mothra, and Phil is/was a weeb).

There can be teeny tiny Jinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnay and Kinnay that sing to summon the potato.

I was envisoning some sort of irreverent semi-musical. Like one part Phantom of the Paradise, a jigger of Rocky Horror Picture show, and a sprig of Hairspray (the original, not the one with Tranvolta.)
