It's actually really fucking autistic (surprise, surprise) because she changed Voidburger to Voidburger Gaming™... and then created another channel called Voidburger where she just dumps boring longform vidya rants about how that sequel to Phantasmagoria is secretly a gay pride icon and how much she hates the design of the monsters in The Medium I guess.

I have to imagine she did this because she wanted to have more subscribers on the channel where she just dumps her streams because it's easier to monetize it, but it didn't do much. People don't seem to care too much about her stream archives either, and on a very good week she'll get maybe 2k views on a video. Despite her best efforts we're not looking at the next big A-list streamer.

I'm still the opinion that the decline of Retsuprae and by extension SA Let's Play hugboxes began with their collective meltdown over PewDiePie about a decade ago, if not slightly earlier with their other shitfit at Nostalgia Critic/Doge Walker's attempt at doing a LP on one of the 16-bit Simpsons' games, not that Doge didn't deserve to be roasted for that cringe attempt, but Slowbeef and his fellow histrionic smugfag peers did not do much favors to themselves by behaving as if Doge murdered their parents or kidnapped their girlfriends, because that's exactly how they reacted in their video on him.
I wouldn't give them much credit for imitating PDP either, since even he was never as painfully generic and predictable as the lot of the Goons are now. Fitting end for a bunch of faggots who held themselves back in their vlogging careers just to appease self-proclaimed "creator of LPs" Slowbeef, and they now project their failures in life in everything and everyone else but themselves.

So I admit I don't know how 'necessary' this is, given the change in opinions regarding Retsupurae's quality, and Chip and Ironicus turning out to be way more pathetic than anyone expected, but as I was looking for the archives of their Retsupuraes, I saw that the Elemental Goddess mock episodes weren't there.

As I looked around, I saw that they were reuploaded to their website, which is great, but there's no way to ensure they are going to stay there [especially if the site goes down].

While I could download them on a mobile phone, I can't do the same on a browser. Does anyone know how to archive these videos directly? These are the pages:

Raocow is fascinating. He has a nice little community that comment about the game and his khamentary, gets roughly 1k views on average, and he makes over $1.5k a month on the Paymetons. People should aspire to be in that position instead of gunning for the PDP throne. Why does he keep uploading videos in 10 minute chunks like it is 2008?

I think there is a couple of other people in the same boat but I can't recall their names, one guy has something about a beard in his name, another uses an avatar of a Megaman character (might of been Zero?).

While I admire their dedication to sticking to the old ways I can't help but think that it would be more enjoyable for their fans to be able to talk in real time on a stream. Does open you up to accidentally revealing too much about yourself if you get involved in the chat though.

But it's really pathetic how obsessed SA's LP forum got with their definition of a good LP back then, and Slow "I invented Let's Plays" Beef has always been one of the worst offenders. RP as an idea kinda loses a lot of its charm when you realize how many of their old videos were just a guy in his early thirties with a really annoying voice screeching at kids for using a shitty camera or Unregistered Hypercam2 to record themselves playing Mario on the internet.

Say whatever you want about Pewdiepie's early videos, but watching a bunch of morons waste years trying to impose their perfect formula to make videos of yourself playing video games like it's the Golden Ratio only for a teenage swedish retard to become the biggest channel on Youtube and make a fortune by screaming about slenderman wanting to rape him will always be the funniest shit to me.

I'm reminded of one of my favourite examples: a camcorder LP that couldn't stop zooming but case in point while searching for the vid I caught like three others that were even worse. Even if you're not a fan of the beef & betus duo there's a value in RP documenting just how many new and innovative ways there are to fuck up playing videogames on camera.

That's not say there wasn't a lot of garbage. Remember when beef had an apoplectic spergout because someone camcorder LPed Contra 3 and it was beef's favourite game when he was 8 or something?
