The "white people" thing is a false equiv - race is a set of genetic realities, they aren't some fucking pick-a-color thing people do when deciding "who they are". There's no soul searching. You either have pale skin or you have dark skin. They're a result of genetic realities. Mix X with Y and you get Z.
Biological sex is the same thing. These are simple facts that have evolved from hominid to modern human. They're biological realities.
There is no room for pick a gender self-id troonery in scientific reality.

It doesn't necessarily reflect badly on all trans, but it does reflect badly on self-ID. The difference between troons and white men (well, white men who don't claim to be trans, I mean) is that white men are still expected to submit to basic safeguarding checks and not just be waved through into any space with vulnerable women or kids. Sure, some still are, definitely, but it's usually rich and/or famous paedos using their clout to get around safeguards. They're not saying "how dare you do any kind of due diligence or supervision or checks on me, this is racist to white people" the way troons are saying they should be believed instantly about their identity and allowed to be in private spaces with vulnerable people. It's a bad law because it creates this enormous loophole for nonces. I have some sympathy for the transsexuals who oppose the law and just want to live their lives, but troons like Kat Blaque are essentially saying that Jonathan Yaniv abusing kids and women is acceptable collateral damage if it means they get to be *~validated~* by the state changing their documentation for them at will.

This wasn't my first takeaway from the video I posted but now that I read you wording it like that, I have to fully agree with you. I also agree with your first statement, this shows major and dangerous flaws that self ID being legally accepted has. Maybe it's socially unacceptable/rude to blatantly and knowingly disregard someone's self identification...but that alone in no way means it should be illegal.

They won't. Fundamentally Yaniv is a "she" because he says she is. Or whatever. This is a huge case of where "tolerance" has hugely failed. Before the oughts, it was understood that whoever went in a bathroom, change room, dressing room would be bio female. And if they were male, they'd be caught out. I knew one, he was "passable," he worked at Marshall Fields or something and asked to be assigned to the lingerie section. Someone finally asked him for his ID and he was bounced. And now everyone would call it oppressive. This guy went back to being a normie gay, and if he hadn't, the same would still hold. Everyone's acting like cock and balls are irrelevant when in fact possessing them is part of 98 percent of rape cases. 100 percent in some less woke jurisdictions. If there's any wiggle room, that is called SRS, which at least implies some physical reality.

Race is far, FAR fuzzier as a category than sex. With race it's all about percentages and vague clumps of phenotypes over populations. With sex, it is a literal fucking binary, and an objectively verifiable one at that: either you have a Y chromosome or you don't. Even people with DSDs (so-called "intersex" individuals) are classifiable as either male or female, and we no longer live in a world where babies with ambiguous plumbing are left up to the best guess of the midwife/doctor.

Honestly that was the first thing that really made me stop and think about this whole trans thing. Why is Caitlyn Jenner a woman, but Rachel Dolezal isn't black? Dolezal is a hell of a lot closer to being black than Jenner is to being a woman.

Yea that's the thing. He's probably one of the most extreme examples, but I can name 5 bat shit insane trannies for every functional one I know of, and even the normal-ish ones I know personally are still deeply neurotic/depressed.

It's really difficult to not see this trend.
