I spent money to watch this movie in the theater today and I'm butthurt about it because it was just one plot hole after another starting at about 40 minutes in. I was legit interested in it because it seemed like a cool concept but it was just so shit.

I feel like I should ask for the list of plot holes because when I went to see it something made me sick and I spent the middle part of the movie puking in the bathroom, but honestly nothing about what I did see makes me want to know what I missed.

People actually thought that? Was it theorized that Marvel did not attach its name to the movie because it would have been obvious that the alien was a Venom symbiote?

That's one of the reasons, if this really was a Venom prequel they probably also excluded Marvel's name so Ryan Reynolds wouldn't get in trouble with Fox for appearing in a Marvel film that's not their own.
