light gray vs dark gray members -

like the title says, what's the difference between light gray and dark gray members? I've already ruled out staff, true and honest fans, and people that I've clicked on before

It's this. Apparently senior users have "Bypass User Privacy" permission. I'm not sure why. I think this is just so that lolcows can't hide that they're lurking / make their profile invisible to our oldest users.
