Is this title card setup one of those "only an idiot could fuck this up" things? After the Batman v Superman, this looks like two in a row if that's the case.

I mean, he did say he hated the Darth Vader hallway scene from Rogue One like a crotchety old man, causing a lot of people in the comments defending the scene in question.

I think the worst part is how flat and uninterested it all comes off. It looks like a piece made by someone who doesnt give a shit (which it was), and thus there is no energy, no love, no care put into it, fuck I can shit on Linkaras old thumbnails to dusk to dawn but at least they had SOME sort of energy behind them, this is just fukk on shit.

In Vigas defense, composition is hard. I still havent figured it out. This makes me actually wanna spend some focused time working on composition pieces.

But it really is something she could have learned in art school. She should have actually graduated.

It is most certainly lacking in inspiration. If I was looking for commissions, say, at a conventions and thought id give her a chance, if her work was over 10 dollars for an ink, I'd pass on her.

For colors no more than 20.

You think thats being generous? Well its basically the tier shes in. 20 dollars for a fully rendered piece to her ability? Thats all it would be worth. I'm doing cell shaded stuff for twice that much.

Also I talked to someone today about lewis and she suggested that maybe he has codependency issues. Thoughts?

But isn’t drawing robots hard for some people because of all the mechanical parts and some technical aspects of you’re going beyond Bender from Futurama? I mean, I’m pretty sure there are some artists that put on their commission chart they won’t do Mecha. And I think even brought up the finicky aspects of drawing them as their reason why they won’t do it.

Honestly? I find mechas easier than organic since it's usually harsher and straighter lines, and Transformers in particular aren't that bad by mecha standards due to their designs being made to be quickly drawn for the TV or the monthly Comics.

Viga's just a lazy incompetent who's basically doing the "hide the hands because I can't draw them" trick.
