You know, the reason I didn't understand the joke when It was first brought up to me was when I first watched these, I didn't think it was that bad.

As far as lashing out at your own fanbase, this really isn't so bad. We've seen far worst from YouTubers. The problem is that once you start to know more about Linkara, it comes across as a whiny and ungrateful rant from some super autistic asshole.

If you knew nothing about him and heard this rant, you might find the person a little weird but you see him as just being aggravated at people annoying him over what is at first glance a hobby of his. It is what you know about him going into it that changes the perception of the outburst.

Also, it doesn't help that while this is THE rant that made him infamous, it's not the only time he's publicly complained about his audience.

Though I guess I prefer this to him asking me to pay his bills.

What kind of job can that closet case get? He's been out of the workforce for how many years now and what skills has he garnered in that time that allow him to get gainful employment?

Beyond WalMart greeter or that guy that brings in the carts from the parking lot he has nothing going for him. Granted that's the case of most of the ex-producers from Channel Autism.

I'd question what job he could have even landed in the past, the guy apparently had a minor degree in philosophy and a major one in English. So, unless he was planning to fly to some foreign country and be an English teacher there, not exactly documents for something profitable.

And there is a joy to being a 20 something with no college degree working at a bookstore in the same position as some middle aged extreme liberal because they're always a extreme liberal who pissed their degree away.

Sounds about right. And unless those graphic novels are collections of storylines, I really don’t think Linkara will see those things and think “I got my next review!”
