For some context the original game, LISA: The Painful is a post-apocalyptic RPG with an emphasis on exploration and looking for encounters to level up rather than grinding.
After a mysterious white flash makes all women disappear, the world, or more specifically Olathe where the game is set, goes to shit with no hope of reproducing.
However things eventually settle down with most folk joining gangs, going insane, or making small villages and living peacefully.
Everyone leaves those not looking for trouble be for the most part.
However word gets out of a little girl wandering around Olathe and shit hits the fan again pretty quick.
Olathe slowly turns into a war ground looking for her.
This is thread is however more for the fanworks of the game, more over the notable ones anyway.
I'll being going over each one briefly.
Also something worth mentioning is that the creator of Painful has given the following games praise and considers them canon for their quality.
If you haven't checked these out I strongly encourage you to do so. (They're all free too, so there's that.)
If you haven't even played Painful though you won't be missing anything storywise as these games are each their own contained stories.
LISA: The Pointless

Alex Churchland: Was a literal garbage man and aspiring martial artist before the flash.
He wakes up beaten to shit in a pile of garbage at the start of the game.

Joel Miller: Wanderer/Scavenger. Finds a rare bullet for his antique gun underneath Alex's presumed dead body.
When Alex turns out to be alive Joel takes him in claiming Alex to be his lucky charm, and with nothing better to do sets out with him to find greener pastures.
LISA: The Hopeful

Benny "BeltBoy":
Beltboy is the spokesman of the group. He tries to make decisions based on what's best for the group at large.
He functions, as his name implies, as a belt keeping the group together.

Liam "Lanks":
A lanky good natured dweeb who serves the role as being the support for the group.
Being physically weaker compared to his two friends, Beltboy and Cyclops, he constantly relies on them for guidance and protection.

Clyde "Cyclops":
The loose-canon of the group, regularly gets irritated or angry easily.
Although it may not seem like it, he does care deeply for his freinds.
LISA: The Clueless
Vis: Deciding that he can no longer stand idly by while his brothers and sisters are picked off and made into jerky, he sets off to do something about it.
Judge: Yep it's the judge fish from the first game.
Seeing that Vis is leaving he decides to tag along for the ride, as he too hates the humans for what they're doing.
I barley scratched the surface of these wonderful games so again if any of these perked your interest consider playing them maybe.
OR if you've already played one of these sperg with me because when it comes to these games I don't have anyone to sperg with.

LISA: The Pointless
Alex Churchland, a garbage man that has been reduced to literal garbage by cruel fate.
He's running away from his past, but not exactly sure where he's running too either.
Is there any reason to keep wandering hoping to find something better?
Or is this all just pointless?

By far the hardest LISA fangame out there, items are scarce and magazines are even scarcer. You'll have to make the most out of what you have if you want to survive.
Also, save crows are one use only.
From what I've seen most players don't seem to get past the first boss which is disappointing because the game gets really interesting in it's second and third act.
Kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill is the first fold of infinity. The Infinity Franchise is forever. Long live the game.
Alex can preform WASD combos while Joel can only use attacks that induce status effects (Can't do damage, unless he's throwing bottles)
And healing items are your only way of healing as there are no campfires so don't expect to cheese your way into an easier time.
Although this is my personal favorite of the bunch I strongly recommend playing Painful or another LISA fangame first.
About 4 to 5 hours worth of content here.

LISA: The Hopeful
As word of a girl is spread across Olathe everyone scrambles to find her and get their dick wet.
Your ragtag group of goons also want to get a piece and that's exactly what they're gonna do, even if it means risking running in with the Back Water Olathe gang, "The Lovelies."

The most similar to LISA the Painful gameplay wise, normal difficulty that is fair but at the same not a complete cake walk either.
Campfires can be used regularly and save crows can be used as many times as needed.
Items are pretty abundant as well.
Vroom vroom
Just keep going....
BeltBoy and Cyclops can use WASD combos, with Beltboy using guns and Cyclops getting up close and personal.
Lanks on the other hand can use speeches to inspire his team and raise their stats.

LISA: The Clueless
Tired of being made into jerky by the humans, a couple of fish go to beat the shit of some humans.
Neither Vis or Judge can use WASD combos, so you'll have to plan ahead if you want to win your battles.
Difficulty wise it's akin to Painful.
Judge acts as the support while Vis does most of the beating.
Judge can throw legal documents to confuse foes and spit water at them to induce status effects while Vis headbutts, bites, and tackles.
There are places you can rest to heal, and items are quite abundant as well.
Battles can be tough if you don't utilize Vis and Judge's skills so trial and error and mixing up strats to see what's best is a big part of combat.
