What the fuck is a "Lolita Defense"? That's not a thing and it sounds fucking ignorant if taken in the context of the novel by the same name. The novel describes a pedophile, with a histroy of chasimg 9-13y/o girls and engaging in a sexual relationship with a 12 y/o. Tom keeps using it in the context of an adult male mistakenly engaging in sex with a minor who he believes is older. Not only is that not the case in Lolita, it's also not the case for Tom and Sabrina as he admits he knew she was a minor and knew her while she was younger and in a sexual relationship with another child. He admits to having lusted after her since she was 12, IIRC.

I don't honestly believe his timeline adds up to her being 15 based on her age when he claims to have noticed her sexually and his age at the time. I think he changed that narrative after the reaction at AMB.
