First I've heard this is an exclusively American platform. Although I've just recently encountered OP troon, it appears that he is American, not Canadian. (Not saying that there aren't plenty of troons in Canada but there have to be more in the states since the US population is 10x that of Canuckistan.)
However I have noticed that Americans like to #BlameCanada for every bad thing that happens in the US of A despite the lack of evidence. Anyway most Americans don't seem to notice that Canada or any other country for that matter, actually exists, thus they don't pay attention to what shit is going on in Canada and certainly aren't influenced by it.
