Lolcow vs Creepycow -

After the whole Nick Bate thread, I think we need to draw a line between what makes someone an lolcow and what makes someone a creepycow/sickfuck. The problem is that their characteristics tend to be the same (ex: large ego, attentionwhoring, lying, TMI etc). But it's painfully clear that creepycows are not funny at all compared to the lolcow. Not only that, but even after we do draw a line, should we still be able to post creepycows on here?

Yeah, Nick Bate is a classic example of that. He might be stupid, but unlike Chris, there's nothing "charming" about him in the slightest. I think that a good judge of a creepycow is your own instinct, though I admit that some people might be grossed out by something that doesn't bother others.

I'd never heard of the other girl before now, but I agree she fits too.

I'm not sure. I want to say just not posting sick fucks is a good idea, but as Springblossom said, Nick also toes the line, albeit barely.

Speaking a little more philosophically, if you will, creepycows don't lend themselves well to personification. Unlike how Chris is American entitlement taken to its ultimate extreme; or Gloria Tesch is every single oblivious gated community Daddy's girl; or ADF is a slacktivist extraordinaire; creepycows are just uniquely fucked up so as to make it impossible to hang a specific charge on them.

Call it the Nick Bate Line, maybe? If they have fewer redeeming (for a lolcow) qualities or are more disgusting than Nick Bate, they're not lolcows?
