I honestly can't say if those fandoms are any better or worse. Though I am going to learn towards the former. If anything they are quiet and don't go out of their way to write call out posts or complain over stupid shit. Tumblr just ruins everything it touches.

The fact that they're quieter makes them better, IMO.

Apparently version 3.0 of the translation of OFF was released a few months ago; it can be found here.

The readme that accompanies it credits Lord-whoops, Lady Saytenn with "[e]vent scripting and implementation of the third gender option," which is specified on the translation page to be "for non-binary players and groups [of players]." Without going into too much detail, the player is a separate entity from the main character; this change creates a new gender option when starting the game called "I'd rather not say" which results in the player being addressed as "they."

That's exactly the kind of stupid, lame, pointless bullshit I would expect from Saytenn.
