If he’s betting all his chips on making money off of coloring commissions (which is really niche anyway...) then you’d think he’d invest the time to learn to shade and learn color theory at the very least. His coloring is very simple and I’d imagine it takes him less than 5 minutes to finish. He just drags shape outline tools and then fills the outlines in with the paint bucket tool... why does he think he should be paid the same amount an actual artist asks to be paid for their average commission? Safe to say, I don’t think he puts very much thought into things... nor does he listen to constructive criticism.

As I mentioned I grew up in the Greensburg area. It's no more or less transphobic than any other small city. LBGT folks make up a proportionate number of the population. There are PFLAG groups, LGBT groups based in churches and universities, and at least one counseling center specifically for the gays. I haven't lived there in twenty years but my family is still there. When I did live there, as a kid and young woman, I worked with gay/queer/gender non-conforming folks at every job I had from restaurants to the art museum. I'm not saying their lives are easy, like it's some kind of gay Mecca like SF, especially back when I lived there, but it's not like LGBT people can't live peacefully or find employment or friends or romantic partners. There aren't trans people being dragged and lynched on the daily.
