Doordash is one of the best services out of the four food delivery ones. The normal, sensible thing would have been to split up your meal with your mother so at least she gets something but no, let's just go on twitter and bitch. He’s a choosy beggar. He begs so he can have the best of the best and he’ll settle for nothing less. He is not starving for food, he likely just begs because the food at home is not greasy and fattening enough for his tastes.
A little bit of a gem that proved an earlier theory of mine...he does stay hoarded up in his room. And I think he took down the lock on his account. That was quick!
Not counting food plus gas plus electric, you could feasibly make a good meal large enough to feed a family of four with about $20 in burgerland. A pound of beef is about $15 or so and raw ingredients would total to about $5 and you can use them for another meal down the line. Including himself, I believe Louis has four people to feed (well, his family has four people to feed, at least). We'll say four and a half if I were to include his nephew. In that regard, it'd take $20 for the food and maybe $5 for the little kid to eat.
But we also know that Louis eats enough food for a family of four, so now I see where the price nearly getting doubled comes from. Throw in an extra $5 for a ridiculously expensive diet soda and extra snack, and that's how he flushes $50 down his gullet. If I remember correctly, he did announce that he spent nearly $30 on a pizza because he bought the whole thing plus an entire two liter bottle of soda and downed both by himself. The most financially responsible thing Louis can do, assuming his money problems are genuine (which we already know conclusively that they aren't), is to just go on a diet.

Correct. According to people from within his circle, he is extremely picky, which does not go hand-in-hand with being too poor to selectively pick your food. A theory I believe one of his ex-friends shared was that his family will give up and get food without him because he refuses to eat what they want, and so he'll warp this to say they left him out of the family dinner even when he was the one who did it to himself.
I also shuddered at the thought of him microwaving sloppy joes. The meat and sauce for that is already greasy, plopping that gruel into the microwave does nothing but melt the clumps of fat in that goop and make it all the greasier. He literally couldn't eat anything more greasy and disgusting and still call it "food."
