Him denying the gaming laptop is a rather bold lie given he showed the laptop with a sticker proving it's equipped with a graphics card geared towards gaming. The specs he posted about it also doesn't disprove it being a gaming laptop, and they're also pretty decent specs anyway. He may be trying to avoid identifying the laptop by name or brand so he doesn't make it even more obvious he's lying by being too lazy to look up a cheap laptop which resembles the one he owns.

The at-will and the transphobia are being lumped together as one thing, which they aren’t. PA is an at-will employment state, but gender identity is protected in many places in the state. Being at-will means no one needs a reason, though, so obviously any termination of a trans person is transphobic in Lou’s world.

It’s also convenient that Lou forgets about PA’s Health Secretary, as she’s a trans woman, and has not only been at the forefront of the Covid-19 briefings, but was also extremely visible today.
